Club Scrap roos/rose

Beide kaarten zijn gemaakt met Club Scrap papier en stempels. De linker kaart is gemaakt met een van de nieuwe technieken van de Technique Junkie nieuwsbrief die heet pyramide stempelen. De rechter kaart is gemaakt in de visgraat techniek van Club Scrap met de restjes van de linker kaart. Both cards are made with Club Scrap papers and stamps. The left card is made in one of the new techniques from the lates Technique Junkie newsletter called: pyramide technique. The right card is with the herringbone technique that is shown in the Club Scrap Cinema, made with the leftovers from the right card.

Bamboo

Deze kaart is een combinatie van Club Scrap papier (Pure & Simple) en Michael Strong stempels. Om deze leuke bamboo takjes te maken, moet je een kijkje nemen op het blog van Michael Strong, want daar legt hij precies uit hoe je ze maakt. This card is a combination of Club Scrap papers (Pure & Simple) and Michael Strong stamps. To make thes cute bamboo sticks you have to take a look at the Michael Strong blog, for he explains exactly how you can make them.

Nieuwe haring/ New Herring

Daar is 'ie weer: de nieuwe haring en hij is echt heerlijk! Natuurlijk foto's gemaakt en geschapped op papier van Club Scrap (concrete Jungle) en wat past hier nu beter bij als de vis van Michael Strong en de visgraat techniek van Club Scrap?

Here you see a Dutch custom: eating the new herring! And of course I had to make some pictures. I scrapped it with the new Club Scrap paper (Concrete Jungle). And the fish of Michael Strong and the new herringbone technique fits perfectly.

Club Scrap in a box

Heb vandaag een een altoid doosje gescrapped. Hierin zitten de foto's van het september Club Scrap Retreat 2008. Heb hier voor het papier en unmounted stempels van deze maand gebruikt: Concrete Jungle. Kijk maar hoe gezellig we het hebben gehad.

Today I scrapped in an altoid tin. I used the pictures of the Club Scrap 2008 September retreat. I used the papers and unmounted stamps of this month's kit: Concrete Jungle. Look at what a great time we have had.

Mijn eerste pagina met de nieuwe Club Scrap kit. Mijn dochters in Londen. Het papier is ultra modern en uitermate geschikt voor allerlei onderwerpen. Licht en donkerblauw, zilverchtig en zwart met een glans. Leuke stickers erbij. Here is my first page with the new Club Scrap kit. My daughters in London. The papers are very modern and extremely right for any kind of topic. Lovely light and dark blue, silver and shiny black papers, fun stickers.

10 jaar Club Scrap BLOG CANDY/ 10th Anniversary of Club Scrap

Van harte gefeliciteerd Club Scrap.
Sinds juni 1999 maken ze elke maand een kit met papier en stempels en projecten, die de hele wereld over gaan. Tricia en Dinah hebben kans gezien om te beginnen met het versturen van 45 pizza dozen met uniek materiaal en het te laten uitgegroeien tot een bedrijf met leden over de hele wereld. Om dit heugelijke feit te vieren geef ik deze prachtige houten stempel weg. Geef jou goede wensen aan Tricia en Dinah in een berichtje bij deze mail en dan maak je kans om de bezitter van deze stempel te worden. Op 1 juli kiezen Tricia en Dinah een winnaar. Ondertussen zullen jullie hier veel nieuwe ideeen vinden met de materialen van mijn favouriete firma.

Since June 1999, when they have started with sending out 45 pizza boxes with unique papers, stamps and projects all over the world. Tricia and Dina, founders of Club Scrap, have come up with a wonderful monthly concept that has grown into a big company. To celebrate this with them I have this wooden stamp to give away. Nog een boekje/ another booklet

Het is echt leuk om zo'n klein boekje te maken. Hier nog eentje met Club Scrap Cruisin' papier.
In het vorige bericht kun je op een filmpje zien hoe je dit boekje moet maken.

Club Scrap mini book

In de Club Scrap doos van mei "Henna" zat een leuk klein project: een mini boekje. Het zag er reuze ingewikkeld uit. Maar gelukkig heeft Club Scrap een filmpje gemaakt en toen was het me allemaal duidelijk en echt niet moeilijk. Zie hier het resultaat, een boekje voor mijn dochter.

In the May kit of Club Scrap "Henna" there was a lovely little project: a mini book. Oy did it look complicated! But thanks to the video and Kays wonderful explanation, nothing could go wrong and I made this project for my daughter.

Club Scrap Cinema

Hebben jullie al het nieuwste filmpje van Club Scrap gezien? Het is een leuke en gemakkelijke techniek die je kunt gebruiken op kaarten of in je scrapbook uitgelegd door Nikki. Dit is mijn eerste kaartje er mee. Ik heb het papier van de april kit van Club Scrap gebruikt, die heet Pure& Simple.

Did you see the latest video in the Club Scrap cinema? It has a wonderful easy technique called herringbone technique explained by Nikki. It is great for cards and embellishments for your scrapbook. I made this cute card with the April kit Pure & Simple.

Pas de Deux

Dit kaartje is gemaakt met de ballet kikker van Stampinback, de gecko van Michael Strong en de letters zijn houten stempeltjes van Hero Arts. De kaart is gekleurd met disstress inkt en op het balletrokje zit wat glitterlijm.On this card you see a combination of the dancing frog by Stampinback and the gecko by Michael Strong. The letters are wooden block from Hero Arts. The card is coloured with disstress ink and glitter glue on the ballet skirt.

CD boekje/ CD booklet

Wat heb je nodig om van een cd hoesje een cd boekje te maken:
1 cd hoesje
versch. soorten (scrap) papier
plakmateriaal
papier snijder
lintje 4cm
eventueel cirkel pons
nietje

What do you need to make a boeklet cd out of a cd cover?
1 cd cover
different kinds of (scrap) paper
double sided tape or glue
paper cutter
a ribbon of 1,5 inch
circle punch
staple

1. Neem het cd doosje en verwijder het zwarte gedeelte waar de cd in hoort te zitten.
2. Snij het papier als volgt:
2x 10 x 30 cm (scrapvel) stevig papier
1x 12 x 12,5 cm (buitenkant doosje)
1x 12 x 13,5 cm (binnenkant doosje)
2x 11 x 11 cm (effen is hier het beste)
4x 9,5 x 9,5 cm scrap papier (dubb zijdig is leuk)

1. Take out of the cd cover , the piece of black plastic that holds the cd.

2. Cut paper as following:

2x 4" x 12" solid cardstock

1x 5 1/4"x 4 3/4" (inside box)

1x 5" x 4 3/4 " (outside box)

2 x 4 1/2"x 4 1/2 " (plain is best)

4x 3 3/4"x 3 3/4" scrap paper (double sided is fun to use)

3. Neem nu eerst de twee lange stroken en vouw deze om de 10 cm harmonica stijl. Plak eerste deel op laatste deel. Je kunt hiervan eventueel een vakje maken (zie plaatje hieronder) door met een ronde pons een hapje uit de bovenkant te halen. Je kunt er dan een tag in doen.

3. Take the two long stips and score at 4"and 8" both strips. Fold them harmonica wise. Glue first and last together. You might want to make a pocket out of this. Use circle punch as you see on picture below. Now you can enter a tag.

4. Leg buitenkant en binnenkant velletjes in het doosje en plak hierop de 11 x 11 cm vierkantjes.

4. Place inner and outside paper in the box and adhere the 4 1/2"square papers.

5. Plak de harmonica-strook aan de binnenkant van het doosje op het 11 x 11 cm vierkant.
Vouw de strook als een boekje dicht en plak het lintje dubbelgevouw aan de voorkant en
daaroverheen een velletje van 9,5 x 9,5 cm. Je kunt nu het boekje makkelijk opentrekken.

5. Adhere the harmonica folded strip to the inner side of the box on the square you just added. Make sure the strif folds as a booklet. On top of the booklet you glue the ribbon as a loop and on top one of the scrap papers. Now you can easily open the booklet.

6. Aan de linkerkant van het doosje kun je een vakje maken voor een tag, maar je kunt het ook
beplakken met foto's. Het geheel kun je nu naar eigen smaak versieren.

6. On the left side of the cd cover, you can make a pocket with the scrap paper to enter a tag, but you can also start with sticking pictures. Decorate to your own taste.
