Love is in the air

Looking at all my
pizzaboxes, this kit suddenly gave me this idea:
Up, Up & away is the kits name.

The hearts are cut out with different sizes
of spellbinders and the background is embossed
and colored with Club Scrap ocean blue
stamping ink and a blending tool. The wax
thread is fastened behind the heart kite with
foam tape and below behind the sentiment.

The sentiment is typed up with the computer in
the following fonts:
Rosewood and
Traveling_typewriter
matching the fonts from this kit.

Don't forget:

Have a creative day!

Envelope punch board for Valentine

I found this cute little
Valentine box online and want
to share with you my version.

To make this box you need your
envelope punch board:
I like this board so much, for it
has so many more possibilities then just make envelopes.
I used it to make this wonderful little box for Valentine.
It holds either a mini card or a nice heartshaped chocolate.

I found all the details on how to make this HERE.

I used a few older supplies from Club Scrap:
paper from the 2006 Retro kit
stamps from 2008 Valentines
the smallest heart from my spellbinders

After following the direction from the tutorial
I made this tiny heart for decoration on the box.
It is cut out of both end bits of the box.

Through the holes I added a small light pink
organza ribbon and.....

glued the punched out hearts to the end of the ribbon.

As I want to add chocolate into the box
(will go out and buy some soon!),
so I made a tiny 3x3 inch card and
matching envelope (having the envelope
punch board out anyway). The Retro kit
came with some lovely vellum paper.

Again I punched a heart. This time through the front of the
card and by adding white paper inside, the heart comes out nice in the front.
Punched out hearts are used inside.

Sentiment on top is from a 2008 Chritmas
gift tag um rubber stamp set.

The sticker on the back is from the Fizz kit.

In for more ideas? Come back tomorrow,
for i will share ideas with you all week
leading up to the big Valentine Blg Hop
on  Saturday Febuary 14.

Have a creative day!

Sunday Scrap Page: The Bag

It is fun to see children play with grown-up stuff.
When I noticed Owen looking at my bag, I just had
to make some pictures for a page.
He had alot of fun with my bag.

For this page I used:
Stampin'Up! design papers
dotty washy tape from my stash
flower pot stamp by Michael Strong
elephant stamps by Michael Strong

Yeterday, I used the potstamp as a cupcake.
Today  used it as a bag. I stamped it in black
and colored the stamp with varous bright colors
with pencil like my own bag.

Behind the stamp I added the handles
(pieces of small organza ribbon) with foam tape.
I added sticky red gemsone as a clip to the purse.
These are made with the mini pot stamp in the same
way and arranged as a border to the picture.

Asmy grandson is an elephant lover, he
tried to put his elephant in my bag,
so that is why I added these cute elephants as well.
I stamped themon dark brwn paper and embossed
them with white embossing powder.

The small elephants come in a row of three
together with a big elephant stamp.
You find them here.

Thanks for looking!
Have a creative day!

and hope she will have a wonderful year!

...and what's a birthday without a card:
Here is my card for her: a cupcake with a candle
on top. And in the candle is a roll of
money inside. i found this fun money gift idea
on pinterest.

Papers are all Stampin'Up!
cupcake and sentiment are Michael Strong
frame around sentiment by Tim Holtz

For the background I used a tiny heart embossing
folder and added some blackberry bliss ink on
the raised parts with a blending tool.

The candle is rolled paper money with a piece of
scrap paper around it bound together with a
piece of scrappers floss.

The pot stamp is embossed on blackberry bliss paper
with white embossing powder.
The sentiment is stamped in the same color within
the Tim Holtz frame on yellow paper.
A tiny sticky pearl is on either side of the sentiment.

Now let's party!
Have agreatand creative day.

Another Club Scrap Sketch

This Febuary sketch on the
is somuch fun, I had to make
another card with the same sketch.

I used the CS Reunion kit papers from
December to make this card.
This one looks totally different.
I used the Club Scrap Homestead stencil
to make this cards panels.
Here you see the stencil and the
panelwithout the embellishments.
I cut around the curves to add the middle panel.
It gives it a more curvey shape.
The flower on top is cut with a
hearshaped spellbinder die and before added
to the card I embossed them with tiny hearts.

The sentiment is from the digital version of
the Reunion kit. I printed it on white paper
and colored it with a red marker.A few rhinestones
add the bling to this card.

To be honest, i made this card to share with you
that love is in the air! Yes, you all know it is
Valentine's Day soon,so you might need some
ideas for cards, so you will find more
Valentine cards here and a BIG HOP on

with lots of participant sharing their
Valentine projects.

Club Scrap has a wonderful extra special
Valentine kit called Love Ink.,
You might want to take another look HERE.

Thanks for looking
and see you soon again!

Sunday Scrap Page: WC1 New Year

Finally got round to make week 1 of my weekly pages!
Yes,I am getting behind, but I wish there were more hoursin a day.
But I guess more of you recognize this.

The page is in Project Life style and I used
Club Scrap Constellations paper.
Michael Strong star stamp
Stampin'Up! star and note tag punch

I show you different parts of the page,so you can get a close up
on all the details. The text for this page is printed with the computer.
The fireworks stamp you see is from an older CS kit called
Jubilee from 2010.

After adding the picture to the paper I missed something
here and noticed a strip of red left over on my desk.
Using this to create a fun border was the solution.
The shiny silver hologram dots came with the kit.
Next to the text I added a tag. This is made with the
SU! note tag punch. On top white with the border
done with red ink and a blending tool. Star embossed in
silver  and a silver ribbon on top.

The text printed is with the computer and the stars
stamped  and embossed with silver embossing powder.
Ribbon added around the card and one silver embossed star
on top with some extra shiny hologram dots for a sparkly accent.

Hope your New Year was of to a great start too.
Thanks for looking.

Have a creative day!
