Sunday Scrap Page: Mother's Day

Mother's Day scrap page today, what else?!
Last Sunday I went with my girls to this new
feel good movie called Mother's Day for it was no option
to do this today. We had a wonderful day together.

I made this page with Cinema papers from Club Scrap.
The letters and the heart are from Michael Strong.

Here you see the 3 of use posing in front of the
movie poster.

The heart and the MOM letters are embossed and cut out
to be taped to a piece of film strip.

The ribbon is from the kit,but the star brads are from my stash.
The popcorn stamp is from the Club Scrap kit as well as
the enjoy ticket next to the writing.

Thank you for looking and I hope
all of you have a wonderful
and

creative greetings,

New Stamp by Michael Strong: Teapot

Yes, Michael Strong has a new stamp!
It is a teapot

It is a fairly large stamp. The dimentions are
4 x 3,25 inch (10 x 8 cm) and you find it HERE.

Today I made two cards with the new stamp.
They could be for Mother's Day or any other
occasion,so I did not add a sentiment yet.
For the first card I combined the teapot with Mike's
small coffee cups. I embossed them both in glittery silver on blue paper.
Cut all out and glued all to this matching blue and white  background
scrap paper. I added a punched flower to the teapot and the heart
steam that comes out of the pot is an old rubber stamp from Club Scrap.
For the 2nd card I used the same technique as I showed  yesterday
in my blogpost here and noticed that part of the teapot was
also a perfect vase. And gave it some extra bling with golden
sticke gemstones.

Thank you for looking.
Have a creative day!

Flower cards

Here are two flower cards. You can use them
for any occasion.
I used Club Scrap flower stamps
and
Michael Strong stamps for the vases.

And of course i share with you how I did this:

I started with cutting a shap out of
a piece of scrap paper of the same size
as the front panel of the card.

I use this to color the shape on the card.

And also for stamping to stay within the shape.

After the stamping you can take of the mask.
Here is how it looks so far.

Now for some coloring. I used my pensils on top of
the ink and here is the result.

To finish the card I used part of Michael Strong's
pot stamp embossed in gold on orange paper.

Here a totally different version with other flowers
and part of Mike's vase stamp to give you
another idea.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Vintage Mother's Day cards

Here another version of cards,
that I made with one of the sentiments from

You find this Mother's Day set of
digitalimages HERE for only $2,00.

For my cards I found some vintage flower pictures online
and added the sentiment to these pictures in photoshop.
I am not good with photoshop, but I have been taught how
to add a sentiment to a picture! Of course I cannot make just a
digital card and had to add a little stamping (on the small tag)
and a ribbon on a piee of die cut paper (sizzix -Tim Holtz thinlit).

Here another vintage picture. The sentiment is the same, just
changed the color of the lettering (yeah! I can do that too!!)
Here I added a precut doily, some musical washi tape ,
a ribbon and 2 ready made roses.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Flowers for Mom

Here another Mother's Day card.
Flowers are always good.
For my card I used a Vintage Hydrangea image

and the sentiment from this Mother's Day
set, that you can find HERE for only $ 2,00.

I printed the flower 3 times. One I cut with an oval die.
Then next i cut the flower completely and layed it on to
of the first one with foam tape in between. And the 3rd
layer is part of the flower also with foam tape in between.
The flower is decorated with tiny sticky pearls in
the heart of the flowers.

The sentiment is edited in photoshop to look more
the vintage style to go with the flower.
The background panel of the card is a piece of
scrapI had left from workin with my gelli plate.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Coffee and Mother's Day

Were you waiting for another coffee card?
This time it is one for Mother's Day.

I used again the digital stamps from
For the background I used a coffee bean stencil
from Elizabeth Craft design.

After I printed this Mother tatoo image,I thought
it would look perfect around a coffee mug.
So I cut it out and foldid it around the cup.

For the background i first used some watercolor paint
and next I used the coffee bean stencil and
vintage photo distress ink and a blending tool.

Inside the card i used the Create with TLC sentiment,
but also a coffee stampset by
Elizabeth craft design as well as the stencil.

Yes, coffee with my Mother it will be on Sunday.

Thanks for looking and
have a creative day!

Creating with TLC for Mother's Day

With Mother's Day around the corner I needed
to make some new cards. Today I worked with
the great image by Create with TLC.

This Old Fashioned Mother's Day digital stamp set can be
found for only $ 2,00 here in the shop.

For my fisrt card I printed the collage stamp
nearly card size and colored it with different
colors of green disstres ink for the leaves
and pink for the sign and the bud.

Here you see the result of the coloring.

And the sentiment inside the card.
The flowerson top of the card and inside are
made with a punch and fastned with a brad.

Sunday Scrap Page: #60 Party

Here another page of my birthday celebration.
Ray and I took the kids and grandkids for a long
weekend to a fun park here in the Netherlands, called the Efteling.
We also rented a bungalow for all of us and we had a fantastic time.

For my page I used Club Scrap Lock & Key papers
and Michael Strong alphabet and frame stamps.

The ribbon and the gold flower are also from the
Club Scrap kit.
The frame stamp is embossed in copper on the red paper
and cut into several parts to connect all the photo's
with the same kind of elements.

The letters are embossed in white and punched out
with a handheld punch. The white flower is
frommy stash with inside the flower fromthe
frame stamp.

Thank you for looking.
Have a creative day!
