Day 2 Coffee Hop: Sketch card

Welcome to day 2 of the 

Winter Coffeelovers Blog Hop.

I have made two cards using the wonderful sketch from the

CAS(E) this sketch! blog.

Their sketches are so wonderful to use

that I ended up making two.

You might wonder what CAS is:

clean and simple.

That makes them so easy to use!

For both my cards I use the

Michael Strong mini coffee cup

and the free sentiment from Verve Stamps.

The sentiment came in black, but in photoshop I colored it red

and then printed it on the cardstock. The cups are out of

silver vellum embossed with silver embossing poder.

Each cup has extra sticky gemstones.

Around the border of the panel, I added some versamark

and silver embossing powder.

Here another version, but the same technique.

Around the panel I added some green ink with

a blending tool.

More coloring on the sentiment and a sitcky pearl in 

the coffee pretending to be a drop of milk.

During the following week I will share with you

my winter coffee cards and projects.

Here is card #1.

For this card I was inspired by the

Cupcake inspiration Challenge.

The snowblobe image is a very vintage 

Stampin'Up! stampset called Snow Globe.

I cut out the glove for the front of the card

and added a piece of acrylic window behind it.

And here is the inside of the card.

You see a Christmas Starbuck cup, more decoration

and a handwritten sentiment.

I found these FREE printable Christmas

cups on a blog here called

Lovely Planner.

The cups also gave me the idea to make this 

Christmas tree decoration.

Here you see how I altered a woodsie tree decoration.

Left you see the original, then I added the cup and the snowflake,

On the last one on the right you see I also added a sentiment.

Mojo Monday 477

Happy Monday everyone!

On Facebook I notice a lot of beautiful snow

pictures, so I guess it is cold out there.

We have freezing weather, beautiful skies,

but no snow.

This is the nightsky over the lake behind our house today.

For my card I used the new sketch up on

the Mojo Monday Blog today.

Paper, sentiment and images are all by Club Scrap.

I used the new December digital kit called

Shades of Winter.

For the sweather I used the embosing folder

cable knit by Stampin'Up!.

The patches on the arm of the sweater were made

with an oval punch and a white gelpen.

Baby, it is cold outside.

Yes, it is getting cold outside

and in my garden I made some pictures.

You see the ice critals on the leaves and plants.

I love the beautiful view.

I used my pictures for this card.

In the background you see a white embossed

panel with the Stampin'Up! Capble Knit embosing folder.

The sentiment is by Create with TLC

and the leaves and snowflake are by

Michael Strong.

I stamped the images on the same blue paper as the base 

of the card and embossed them with white embossing powder.

I added a few sticky pearls too.

Baking up for the Holidays with Create with TLC

Welcome to a delicious Blog Hop

with images from Create with TLC.

I hope you have arrived here from

Faith's Blog

and seen her amazing work.

I received this fun image 

and had to make something.

You can grab it to with just the click of your 

right mouse button and save it to you

own computer and make cards with it.

So what is home made? Cookies

and I had to make a batch of chocolate chip

for my grandson.

And of cours a nice tag on the top.

I printed the image on off white paper and colored it with pencil.

The sentiment is also by Create with TLC.

I fastened the tag with a peg on top of the bag.

A ribbon through the whole and some Christmas bells.

Of course I had to make a card too.

For this I printed the image on craft paper

and colored with pencil.

The sentiment is also from Create with TLC

only I colored it with the computer in

Christmas colors.

The background paper with the cups is by Stampin'Up!

and I used the left over piece for the inside of the card.

How about a very easy card? Well, just print the image

and a sentiment on vellum and cut it to size.

then fasten it with brads to the background.

Papers from a dsp block of 6x6 inch.

Left over papers for the inside and a little stamping.

CAS(E) this Sketch! #200

Today my sketch is from the 

CAS(E) this Sketch! Blog.

Isn;t this a fun sketch?!

I have lots of ideas and think I will use it again.

For my card I used some foliage dies by Tim Holtz

Stampin'Up! design paper and sentiment.

And the bauble is by Michael Strong. This one is 

called Cloisonné Reindeer Ornament.

For this quick and easy card I stamped the bauble

on silver paper and embossed with silver embossing powder.

I want to ride my bicycle

Don't you love this song?

I had to think of it when i was asked to make

a bicycle card for a lady who will be 80 soon.

I right away thought of this vintage image I have from

Create with TLC.

Papers and background stamps are all by a very old

Club Scrap kit called 

Wheel and Sprocket (Aug 2006).

The number is a woodsie from my stash.

The sentiment on the tag is in Dutch and means Happy birthday.

Christmas inspiration

Yeah December is here.

A festive month with wonderful holidays and great for

sending cards. I will share with you my cards for

Christmas and Hanukkah and hope the give you ínspiration 

for your own cards.

This card is made with:

Stampin'Up! Merry Mice stampset

Stampin'Up! Hang your Stocking stampset

and Tim Holtz Holiday Knit stencil THS028

When I got the stockings, I noticed the pattern on one of them

and just wanted to make this combination with the Tim Holtz

stencil. I just love the mouse peeking out of the stocking.

I found the idea on pinterest. I am sure going to make more

of these. Want to try different colores. Will share when they

are ready.

Inside the card i also used the stencil for decoration.
