Thank you followers

I have over 400 followers
and when one reaches a 100 milestone
I can give away one of Paulette's
wonderful Create with TLC
digital creations.

I love subway art, so here
is a spring one for you:
just save it to your computer with
the right mouse click!
Enjoy
and THANK YOU
for being a follower of my
Chraftchaos Blog.

Of course I made already a card with
it to give you some inspiration,
but you can also print it any size you like
and just frame it.
I do hope this happy artwork will
 make spring coming sooner,
for in the Netherlands it is still
freezing cold.

Next to the suway art I stamped
Michael Strong's  small cloisonné tulip.
I stamped and embossed it twice
amd tree times only the flower.
Everything is cut out and the flower
added with a little piece of foam tape.
On top of the flower there is also a
little gemstoned glued.

Thank you very much Paulette for the
lovely and happy subway artwork.

Club Scrap PSL wk 6: Art Media

This week at Club Scraps
Pro Scrapbook League it is all about
ART MEDIA
and of course I have something to share with you.

The media I use is
distress stains.
Below you see the colors I have used
to make this card.
Papers: CS  Peacock Oct 2012
Stamp: CS Birds of a Feather Sept 2009
mustard seed
wild honey
sticked raspberry
and mowed lawn

Take the lid of the bottle and add the
ink directly to the stamp you chose to use.
I gave each bird a different color
and the squares I did with green.

When the ink is all on the stamp, you press the
stamp on the paper and this is the result.
A kind of aquarel look.

Now you can use the stamped panel to make
your card.
I have stamped several images, so there will be
more cards soon.
The sentiment I used is by Create with TLC.

This month kit by Club Scrap is called
BOOKSELVES
and just like last month
we have prepared a wonderful
and inspirational Blog hop for you
with 15 people making art for YOU!
So mark the date in your
calender and come
by to hop.

Sunday Scrap page: Colors

Theme of this week is: COLORS
at the Weekly Chronicles of Club Scrap
and there are many ways to make a page about it.
I choose to do the colors of my DD new house,

The house is a stamp by
I stamped it with versamark ink and
embossed it with orent express embossing powder.
It is colored with distress ink and
distress markers.

To read the text, you can click on the photo
and get a larger version.

The new house is their dream
and they just can't wait to move in.

Club Scrap PSL wk5: Embellishments

 This week at Club Scraps
Pro Scrapbook League it is all about
EMBELLISHMENTS
and of course I have something to share with you..

How about using these twisties
from the Friendship kit
(April 2004)
that I still had lying around
and never used.

Take 4 twisties
and also you need
2 circle punches (one larger then the other)
prick pen
wav thread

Fold the twistie from both sides towards the middle.

Do this with all 4 twisties.

Now take a piece of wax thread,
about 16 inch.

Now we are going to arrange the twisties on top
of each other like on the drawing.

You have to hold it in your hand.

Take the wax tread and use it to fasten all the twisties
together. Go from one side of the flower towards the
other side widing twice and go to the next petal.

When all is done you have two pieces of thread.

Now you punch two circles.

Put the circles on top of each other
and prick two holes. It will look like a button.

Thread the wax thread trough the holes
and make a bow on top of the flower.
Now you have a ready flower to
embellish on your card.
Glue dots are great to fasten the flower
to the card.

Calling Spring

'
A lovely new digital set at Create with TLC
and this is my sample for you to be inspired
to use this set.
You find it and more samples
With some of the images
I created this gatefold card.
You need some scalloped and oval dies;
The card measures  a piece of
11 x 4 1/4 strip of cardstock
that is scored at 2 3/4 at either
side and folded towards the middle.

The ring of oval scalloped is
fastened only half way
on the top and the middle part
is only glued on the bottom part.

This way you get a kind
of latch when you open the card
and can peep into the inside
of the card.
Where you find another
sentiment and some more of the
scrap paper, that is also used on the outside.
