Valentine Tag

Yesterday I told you I was a guest designer
at the DL.ART Blog and I received these
wonderful ribbons and buttons to play with.
Enough ribbon and buttons left to make more.

Today I share this tag with you with
an image I found on the Create with TLC blog
as a free download.

I started out with coloring the background with
Walnut Stain distress Ink and Broken  China.
Then I took a Tim Holtz heart stencil
and colored some red hearts on top of this background.

Next I printed the sweet Valentine image
from the Create with TLC Blog and glued it
to the tag. The heart is left over from the die cut
I used yesterday. A paper flower decorates the heart.
Of course on top the wonderful ribbon.

On the bottom of the image I also added some ribbon.
I used double sided tape on the back of the ribbon
and this way it was easy to make the folds and tape it down.
The button is added with fom tape and
a few more paper roses.

Hetty, your tag is amazing! I love the heart stenciling and the distressed edges. Your little girl image is so sweet! Pretty layout and how you used double sided tape on that ribbon to make the folds! Thanks for sharing your creative ideas!!!
