Michael Strong BLOG HOP

Blog Hop

Theme: Wedding/Valentine
Here we are with another circular blog hop
with Michael Strong stamps.
You came here from
and here is some more inspiration for you.
Just couldn't resist making a card for each theme.
One for a wedding and one for Valentine.
But....
they are also the same card, just a different
color and a different sentiment.
Here is the wedding card:

I took out all my tools:
the heart is cut out with the cricut (Storybook)
the background is embossed through the cuttlebug
the sentiment is on a cut out die with a nestabillity

The stamps I used are the mini flower
and the mini bird embossed in white
on white paper.
The sentiment is printed with the computer.

For the Valentine card I did everything the same:

only in red and gold, instead
of white and gold.

For the sentiment I used Michael's word stamp and the
alphabet stamps.

As this is a blog hop there is some more inspiration
Here is a list of all the participants:
Michael Strong
Thea
Trena
Diana
Dorly
Heidi
                 Hetty -  you are here!
Herma
Dani
Inge
Joanna
These wonderful artists live all over the world
and it might take today to have all blogs
available, so please if you cannot find the right post on these
blogs, do come back.
It is important to leave comments on all the blogs to
be able to win our door prize:
Michael Strongs all seasons cameo stamps.
For love is for all seasons!

Have a creative day!

Hetty your cards take my breath away! How amazing that two cards made identically but in different colors could be so different looking. Just fabulous.

Maybe I will be able to join in also like you suggested in your blog hop at another time.

Hi Hetty.

Gorgeous as usual. Love how you cut out the hummingbird and it is just the outline. So simple, yet so elegant.

Thank you for sharing your work.

Trying again - not having much luck with Google! - because I love the way you've used the heart & hummingbird, and how the two colours make such a difference to a card - wonderfully learning techniques in this blog hop.
Thanks
Anne
