Stamp&Doodle

Thursday is technique day
And for the technique of today
I was inspired by a video I found on youtube:
The background of the card is made with distress stains
and just like I showed you in my
Sunday tutorial for the blog hop.
(go HERE)
If you want, you can also print out my background and use
it for your card.
The stamps I used are the large and small
I stamped those with blach Archival ink
on the background and doodled with
a thin black marker.Because Michael's stamp
also looks doodled, it is hard to see what was the stamp
and what did I doodle.
The pot I stamped on a separete piece of  white
cardstock and embossed with black embossing powder.
I used rangers blending tools to color the pot with the same
color of distress ink as I used on the distress stain.

The pot is cut out and on the back a piece of
foam tape. Now you may wonder how the flower
got over the pot, when it was stamped on
the background. I used my exacto knife to
cut the two leaves of the flower, so I could fold it
over the pot to look more real.

 Have a creative day!
