I made the card with this lovely bird picture

for a sketch challenge.

I love doing sketches and I found this blog

where there are many sketches.

A new one every week.

Here is my sketch for Mojo Monday 275

What i like about doing sketches

is that you are challenged to do something

you otherwise would not think of.

The focal image is colored with watercolor crayons.

I love the soft tones of the crayons.

The leaves are cut with a die and brushed some

green ink around the borders.

Little gemstone flowers are added for some bling.

The card is build up of many layers

you see best from the side.

The sentiment is also by Create with TLC.

 

Here a tag with the bird,

for some more inspiration.

Background done with distress stain

direct to paper technique:

broken china, peacock feathers, brushed pewter.

 Also musical washi tape is added

to the tag.

The picture of the bird is colored with

distress markers and waterpen.

The wing stamp on the background is tattered wings

by Stampers Anonymous. Some glitterglue on top

of the black stamp and also on the flowers and the bird.
