This weeks page for the
Weekly Chronicles was supposed to be
with a "blue" theme,but it turned out red
was the color this time!
In The Netherlands the children have welcomed
Sinterklaas and his "Zwarte Pieten",a very important
occasion in the life of young children.

I used the punch and spell alphabet and
This is cut with scissors and is what we call
a "mijter", it is what Sinterklaas wears on his head.
In the comming weeks you will learn more
about this childrens festivities: the food and the fun.
It lasts until Dec 5 when Sinterklaas
goes back to Spain in his boat and with his helpers.
