Besides the Valentine inspiration, my cards are also
for the metallics challenge at the Club Scrap Blog.
For my first two cards I used some real
metal from a can.you have around.
Once you have cut the top and the bottom,
you have some soft metal that you can easily die cut.
and use for the heart on this card:
Papers are from Club Scrap's Bold Blooms kit.
The heart is from Michael Strong and the sentiment is
from Club Scrap's Peacock kit.
The metal is so soft that you can cut it with
a paper punch
and easily use it in an embossing folder
and use all the pieces tomake another card:
Ecerything Club Scrap Bold Blooms,except
Michael Strong's mini heart, embossed in silver.
And here is my last card:
Same combination: Club Scrap Bold blooms
and Michael Strong's mini heart.
Have a creative day!
Oh how fun. Great inspiration for this coming week.

Great cards, Hetty! I have used a can like that before, but not in a long time. Thanks for reminding me about that technique!
ReplyDeleteLove your great Valentine cards, Hetty! Thanks for the info about using metal cans to make neat embellishments! So cool to run the metal pieces through embossing folders! Hugs, Laura
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty neat! Boy you have been busy! Great cards and a great share!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
the metal accents really add a masculine touch to cards that are pink and lacey, but the thing that really caught my eye is that you are drinking wine from a can. I have to wonder how that affects the flavor.
