More Bold & Bright

Here I am again with
artwork for the Club Scrap Bootcamp.

This week is the last week and  I want to help
to meet the OWH goal, so you will see
lots more bold and bright artwork.

Today I made 7 cards, that I will show you
here. I started out with making
some quick backgrounds with  the neon
dabbers and a few stencils.

When they were dry I got out my Club Scrap
Serenity and Tahiti papers for making some cards.
The sentiment is from the Big Deal kit.

With all the little scraps I did some
herringbone technique for this card.
And yes,i keep on stamping,
so you will see more of me this week
very bold and bright!

(sentiment not Club Scrap)

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Another Sunday Scrap page: Road Trip

Today I had some time to make another
scrap page for the
challenge.

The page is also one for the Weekly Chronicles
for I was one week behind.
This page is about the road trip we took
with Owen last week.
The paper used is Club Scrap Tahiti
and the text is printed with the computer.

The elephant is a stamp by Michael Strong
and embossed with silver embossing powder
and colored with distress markers.

We had a wonderful day at the
Thanks for looking.

Have a creative day!

Sunday Scrap page: Bold & Bright

Isn't this a Bold and Bright scrapbook page?
Well, that is just the theme of the last week of

With the bright papers from the Graffiti kit from last January
it is easy to do. It is a pity I have already used up
many of my papers.
But with some neon dabers one can create a great
bright background. On this background i used
part of a Michael Strong circle stamp in
technique seen on Heidi's blog HERE.
The technique fits the page just right.

The pictures of the graffiti are to be found
on walls in London, where my dd went on a
school trip.

Thanks for looking.

Have a creative day!

Journal52 week 12: A day in the life of me

Here I am with another fnished page for my
weekly art journal. The theme for this weekis:
A day in the life of me.

After some thinking,I wanted to share with you
something like a perfect normal day:
running in the morning,of to the gym and
some crafting in the afternoon and
a movie with my darling in the evening.

So I started to paint my page in three colors
to make the morning, afternoon and evening.
This page is first painted with gesso and
the colors are distress paint.
Then I used the same colors on a piece of paper
without gesso underneath. Defenitely  brighter color.
I tore up the second piece to do
some weaving with it on the first piece
of paper.

I added the bird with a stencil, for I do the
runing early in the morning and love to
hear the sounds of the birds around me.

With the use of some stencils and pens,
I finished this page.

Thanks for looking and
have a creative day!

Club Scrap bootcamp: sparkle

Here are a view cards  for the
***SPARKLE***
challenge at the Club Scrap bootcamp.

Fot these 4 cards I used the Club Scrap
March kit: Trees papers and stamps.

For these cards I also
was inspired by Julie's ALCM
(thank you!!) and here is her template:

gemstones are the sparkle element

glitter glue makes the sun sparkle

sparkle tiny pearls

sparkle ribbon and tiny sparkle stickers

Springtime Challenge

This card is my entry for the Michael Strong Spring challenge.
The challenge is to make a card that includes flowers
and butterflies and whatever else you want to include.

But also for the **SPARKLE** challange over

My idea for this card started when I saw the entry
of Kay Williamson on the Club Scrap Create Blog HERE.
You also see there how to make the flowers
with photo instructions.
This kind of card is called a "Center Step Card"
and below you find a template,if you want to make
a card like this too.

Just save the template to your computer
with a right mouse click or clock on the
picture to see a larger version.

The sentiment is by CTMH and the label frame is
Stampers Anonymous.

The flowers are made with the cloisonné circle stamp
in combination with the small accent circle.
Here you see what was used to make the flowers.
I puched out bigger circles for the flowers and stamped
them on one side with the circle stamp in green and on
the other side in orange. Take a look on the Club Scrap
Create blog how the flower is constructed.

All the papers I used and the leave stampsare all
fromthe Club Scrap March Trees kit.

Thanks for looking
and i hope Spring has spung near you.

Have a creative day!
