See, I made many more of these wonderful backgrounds
with gesso and other mediums. I have a pile to share
more cards with you!
So today I took one of the "gesso resist" backgrounds
and an embossing folder. Had to try and see how this looked.
So I took this flower folder and embossed the paper.
The embossing folder is by Crafts-too-Dutch
and I found it here.
With a blending tool I added alittle ink
to the raised flowers to make them pop.
And here you see the finished card:
The finished card is made with:
Club Scrap Navajo and Circles papers
Michael Strong butterly stamps
Tim Holtz sentiment
The butterflies are embossed with
copper embossing powder and colored
with distress ink and a blending tool.
The small butterfly is very dimentional.
Stamped twice and with a foam tape added together.
On both butterflies you find little sticky gemstones.
Have you had a look at all the cool techniques, that you
find on the Techniqu Junkies Artist Effects CD?
You find them all listed here with a sample card:

Have a creative day!
