Club Scrap Oopsie Daisy Blog Hop

Welcome to Club Scrap's Oopsie Daisy Blog Hop.
So good to see you hve arrived here from
Always full of wonderful ideas.

I absolutely love the kit we have this month,
beautiful colors and wonderful stamps.

If you happen to loose your way along this hop,
you can always go back to the
where you find the complete list
of participants.

Here is my contribution to the hop:

A card you might say,
with squares.....so...
what's new......
Wel is is a 4-sided easel card!
You can send it flat, but the receiver just
pops upall the scrares and has this great
looking card, which is great from all 4 sides.

So how to make it?
For the base of the card:
7x7 inch card stock
6,5 x 6,5 inch panel

For the easels:
4 pieces of  3x 6 inches
4 pieces of 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 inch in black
4 pieces of 2 3/4 x 2 3/4  decorated paper
4 pieces of 2,5 x 2,5 inch to stamp on

Start with folding the 3 x6 6 inc pieces
lenghtwise in half.

Then fold one part diagonal towards the middle fold
like you see on the picture.

The black panel goes on the folded part
and the decorated paper on the square on the botom.

Do a test run to see if you have folded
all the parts the right way.
Do not glue it down yet.it is easier
to decorate when still loose.

Now stampand decorate yur panels
and here you see all finsihed four sides
of my card:
fom above

side 1 wih catepiller text stamp and catepller
on top colored with pencil

side 2 with flower stamped on orange paper,
colored and cut out. Wasp aded with double sided tape
and glitter glue on the wing.

side 3 with a pasket done with the stencil
fromthe Picnic kit.

side 4 with a sentiment on a flower background.

Now please hop on for more inspiration
and see what wonderful idea she has
come up with this time.

Thank you for looking.

Have a creative day!

More giraffe fun!

I cannot help,but play with
new giraffe stamp that is comming SOON!!
This time I just used the accacia leave stamp
and made this scrap card with
the pictur of a real giraffe.

On the side i used a paint chip and the background
is from a safari design paper block by Provo
called Safari Chick Stack.
Just the perfect papers to use with Zoo animals.

For decoration on the envelop I used a giraffe
from Zoo Babies by Stampin'Up!
while waiting for the real stamp to arrive.

Talking about Stampin'Up!
i have decided to become a real demo
voor them and started as an independant
demonstrator on July 1st and of course
I have a totally SU! blog now.
Hope you willcome and pay a visit to

Thanks!

Sunday Scrap page: Giraffes in the Zoo

Here I am with another page for my weekly scrappy chronicles
This time you see another kind of page. These are pocket sheets
and it is great to scrap like this. I made these pages at the
Club Scrap Retreat in an ALSB (assembly line scrap booking)
kind of way with Wild Flower papers.

As I shared with you a sneak peek of
Michael Stong's new giraffe stamp,I also could not
resist using it on my scrap page. Mind you, the stamp is in the
making and it takes a few more weeks to hit the shop!

Today I colored the giraffes with distress markers
for a more brighter coloring to fit the pictures.

If you click on the phote it will be a
larger version, iesier to read the journaling.

With the stamp comes this leave stamp. These are
from the Acacia Thorn Tree, the giraffes favourite food!

Hope you have enjoyed all these sneak peeks
and will be on the look out for this new stamp!

Have a creative day!

Saturday sneak peek: Giraffe

I can share with you a sneak peek of a new stamp
Michael Strong is having made. It is a giraffe stamp
and it will be ready in about a month.
But I love to wet your appetite and make sure you have this
one on your "NEED" list (LOL)

Today I share with you this z-fold card.
It is an easy card. You have a base, I used here
4,25"x 5,5" and a strip of yellow papermeasuring
4"x 10,5". Fold the long strip vertical in half
and than 1/4 upwards again.

The middle panelcan be any size you like.

As you can see i used some decorative giraffe paper
on top and bottom of the card. Leave the space
behind the 1/4 fold empty to write on.

I colored the giraffe with pencils and added
littlesticky gemstones. The sentiment is also by
Michael Strong: words&phrases.

The cupcakes are made with the Cupcake Builder of
Stampin'Up!

Have a creative day!

Oopsie Daisy

It is absolutely wonderful when my nes
Club Scrap
pizzabox arrives with all it'sgoodies.
This month the theme is:
Oopsie Daisy
and while running this morning I just
had to take some pictures:
Back home I got my stamps out and
started to cut them,so I could use themto make.....

You find all the stamps here.
Here you see how the stamps come in a sheet.
So to be able to use them you have to cut them apart.
Fot the cutting I use this special tonic scissors
that makes cutting through rubber easy.
After the cutting, you turn the stamps upside down
and add some Club Scrap mount-it glue on the back.
This glue is tacky and you can use it to add your
stamp to an acrylic bloc for stamping.
So what to do when you take that stamp of your block?
I prepare my stamp index sheets like this:
make a photo copy of the sheet and glue both
sheets back to back. Then  laminate it.

When laminated put the stamps on one side
and on the other side you can see all the stamps.
I have many stamps stored like this and the tacky
mount-it glue works perfect every time!

Now that my stamps are ready, I just have to make
a card!
With some dabbers, a black ink pad and
a few colored pencils I whipped up this card.

You find the tutorial for this technique here:

Sunday Scrap card: Elephant

Today not a page, but a 5,5" x 5,5" scrap card
on Club Scrap Aspen paper with
Michael Strong's elephant stamps.

My DD and my GS often go to Artis (the zoo in Amsterdam).
Owen loves animals all kind, but elephants
and giraffes are one of the favourites
(so Mike...how about a giraffe?)

Here you see Owen playing with his
Lego/Duplo animals.

And you know what, in the zoo shop they have scrap things too.
How about this wonderful elephant washi tape!
You will see this for sure on one of my pages.

The sentiment on the card is also from
the Club Scrap Aspen kit.
With the ribbon I covered the fence around the elephants.
This ribbon is also from the Aspen kit.

The elephants are stamped with Club Scrap
hybrid mahogany ink and sprinkled with
clear embossing powder. This gives a bighter color.
Then the elephants are cut out and with some
double sided tape added to the card.
