These cards are made after seeing Julie's post over at the
Club Scrap Create blog
She show you exactly how to go about this technique.
I love it and here are two samples I made:
For this card I used Michael Strong's
Hannah's Busy Bee stamp that comes
with the honeycomb stencil.
This is the stencil on top of the paper,
that is first colored and stamped on.
Ribbon from Club Scrap's Oopsie Daisy.
Couldn't trow away the left over strip
and so I used it for decoration on the inside.
For this card I used Michael Stong's
coffee cup.Sentiment, ring and beans are
from Club Scrap.
Do give it a try, it is my kind of technique:
easy with a maximum result.
Have a creative day!
Great cards - I'm hoping to play with that technique today.
ReplyDeleteHetty these are simply stunning! I just love how everyone's cards are coming out completely unique using this technique.
ReplyDeletePrachtige kaarten Hetty!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful cards, I'm going to have to try the technique myself
ReplyDeleteYour cards are amazing, Hetty! Love the look you created with the stamping and color blending underneath the stencils, which give it so much "texture"! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards -- love them both! Must try the technique!
