I needed a couple of birthday cards
and as I wanted some easy cards, I asked Paulette
from Create with TLC for a birthday subway art
sentiment and low and behold:
it was in my mailbox the next day.
I think that is awesome,so I wanted to share the link to her shop
with you, but she told me, that I could share the digital
stamp for free with you! Thank you very much,Paulette!
Just click on the digital image and save
it to your computer with the right mouse click.
And now for my card:
I have lots of backgrounds lying around that I made
with technique junkies technique and need to be used.
The background for this card is called Patchwork
Distress from the June/July 2014 newsletter.
And the stamps are from Club Scrap's 2010 Jubilee kit.
This is the inside of the card and as you see I have used up
every scrap that was there! The sentiment is from the
same Club Scrap kit.
Just wrapped some ribbon around the background
and added 2 little rhinestones next to the word
celebrate to finish the card.
Here another sample with a
Technique Junkie's background.
This is Pearly Gelatos Wash from April/May 2014.
A great way to use these background is to
use an embossing folder and add some ink
matching the color of the image.
I added an extra layer to this card with a piece of
designers paper. I have a lot of these blocks and
just have to make use of it and this is a fun way.
A little star charm on the ribbon finishes the card.
