Club Scrap Blog Hop: LAKES

Welcome to another wonderful and inspirational

I hope you have seen what the inventive Tricia has come up
with this time on her Efficient Crafters Blog.

With these beautiful papers ist is easy to envision many projects.
It always seems to me that they know what you need at Club Scrap.
As you might have seen from my previous post and pictures,
we do have a boat and live close to a lake, so what better kit
could I have wanted! Thanks Club Scrap!!
So as I am busy making my Christmas card,I thought
my idea could also work for this kit. I have been making
these tea light easel cards. I found some wonderful instructions
online HERE if you like to give this a try too.
This is behind our house: The Westeinder Lake.

The card can be send flat and  when received
lift it up and it will stand behind the anchor
that is glued to the card with thick double sided tape.

When the artificial light is put behind the window,
it makes a wonderful scenery card.

When you have a few of them it is really nice to look
 at the cardsin the evening

This is how the card looks when it is all flat.

When you open the card you see this, even
decorated on the inside.

I made the waves with a piece op post-it
that pas torn and I added inkt and moved it down to create
more waves. I love the dots that came with this kit.

Of course I made a Christmas variation too!
The Christmas stamps I used are from
an unmounted set from 2007 called
A Very Groovy Christmas

  1. Brilliant card, Hetty! I love that you could use the "anchor" image as an actual "anchor"! How clever!

  2. So clever and so pretty! A nice idea for when you want your card to have a little "something extra". I'm definitely "pinning" this for a future CASE! Both the Lakes and the Christmas versions are beautiful, TFS!
