I could not resist making some more cards
to add to the Spring Coffee Blog Hop.
This card is made with Club Scrap Blueprint papers
and Mocha Java stamps. The technique of this card
is called "Modern Grid" and is an oldie but goodie
by the Technique Junkies.
I used the daffodils - a real spring flower - as the color
palet for my cards.
For this modern grid - technique you start with randomly
stamping some images on a white background. Don't stamp
too close together, leave enough white space.
Next take a grid rulerand a black pen. I made 1 inch squares,
but you can make any size that you like or fits your card.
You can add some doodling in some squares
before starting to color.
I colored the squares with water color crayons,
leaving somesquares white too. The sticky pearls
I added I colored with SU! blendabillities markers.
For this card I used Club Scrap papers and a
a Stampin'Up! stampset called Perfect Blend.
The coffee cup is stamped on the different colors
of paper and colored with awhitepencil.
The little spoon is a Club Scrap mocha java stamp
stamped on shrink plastic and added to the ribbon
with a metal ring.
Thank you for looking.
Have a creative day!
I really like both of your cards awesome.
