I discovered this wonderful technique on internet
and I had to give it a try.
You find all the details here:
You need:
watercolor paper
oilpastels
and an eraser
First you color with the pastels
and then you use the eraser.
A very simple but beautiful technique
that makes beautiful backgrounds.
For the card I used
and a sentiment from an old StampinÚp! set
called Here, Kitty Kitty!
Thank you for looking!
Have a creative day.

what a fabulous bg you have created for this card! thanks so much for showing us how to make it, too. :)
hope you have a most wonderful weekend!
Adorable kitty! Lovely technique and it looks simple to do - will have to try this! Thank you!
Hetty gosh you are so creative. How do you find time and energy for all what you share. I'm so impressed.
And the background you created today for my fave stamp : the awesome MS sleeping CAT stamp. It reminds me of tie dye T-shirts from our young days.,. ( hippies, Woodstock, make love not war etc etc... LOL )
Thank you so much for reminding us of how to integrate old techniques with more up to date items. Fabulous result !!! Love it !!!!
Hugs to you and wish you a lovely Sunday. Monica....Spain
