Sundaystamps Challenge SSC113

Yes I found another challenge!
It is a color challenge on
and here is my card:
I went fo the color challenge
and changed the tea into coffee (no surprise, right?!)

I used this Batik Girl digital image from
There are some fun coffee images there for
only a few $$.I hope you will have a look too.
My frined Monika has also made a card with
the same image for more inspiration.
You find her card here.

And the sentiment inside the card is by
and the coffee ring by Club Scrap.

A litte about the technique:
First the girl. I am not very good in coloring.
I used watercolor crayons first to do the background and then
I filled the details with pencil.

For the background,i wanted to create a kind of
batik look. So first I used some gelatos in the
background, rubbing the colors and then I embossed
it with the paisley folder. The raised parts
I colored with vintage photo sistress ink.

The ribbons are tight around the card before adding
the girl image with foamtape to the card.

Thank you very much for looking.
Have a creative day!
