Happy Winter

So on the first day of Winter I made a card

Even though outside it does not look at all like
winter,it is about 55 F here (12 C),I still wanted
to make a real Winter card.
I got the idea of making a retro/ vintage looking card.
ilove the brown/blue/white combination.

I used some  corrugated cardboard in the background.
This comes from a Starbucks sleeve (the inside)!
The mittens and snowflake are dies. There is some glitter
on the snowflake, but on the photo you only see it when
you clickon it for a larger version.

The ribbon is hand died from D.L.Art and
on top of the bow there is a brad from my stash.
On the mittens I stamped a snowflake from
a Stampin'Up! set.

The background to this card is embossed with
a snowflake embossing folder from Tim Holtz
and the stamped sentiment is from a very old  SU! set.

I also want to enter this card for:
and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Winter Wonderland

Thank you for looking and enjoy your Winter!
