So here is my page of the Passover celebrations at home.
It was the first time for the twin and they had a little
bite of the matzah. Not sure of they really liked it.
I used Club Scrap Random Doorways papers and
sentiment at the bottom of the page.
Tomake the matzah frame around the pictures,I printed a piece
of matzah of the same size as the picture.
I used this:
With a ruler I cut out the middle part,
leaving half an inch border.
The star on the pageis made with the triangle stamp
by Michael Strong.
I stamped the image twice on the middle part that
I cut out of the frame and embossed it with
copper colored embossing powder.
In the background you see again the stencil,
that i also used on the card here. The sentiment
here is by Create with TLC and the round
matzah is cut out with a punch.
We had such a wonderful evening,
yes, new memories where made.
Thanks for looking.
Have a creative day!
Hetty, what a lovely memory you have made celebrating Passover. So clever to make a copy of the matzah and use as a frame!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to capture the concentrating on Owen's face sharing Granddad's telling of the story. A beautiful page and ingenious to make the frame of the matzah.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing photos of your Passover dinner in your lovely scrap page! Love the photos of your dear grandsons! They are just so sweet! Also love how you made the frame and star with the matzo printed paper! The star stencil looks so pretty along with the sentiments, too. Very cool Matzo circles. I like how you have a little "bite" taken from the ones for the twins! You have such an artistic eye! Love your artwork!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Passover memories! Love all of the fabulous details that went into this layout!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these wonderful pages Hetty - so special to see your grandchildren sharing such a special occasion for the first time.
