Today I am sharing a card with another new stamp by
It is the "Cloisonné Nonagon" stamp set.
It comes with these two stamps.
This week I was inspired by one of the cards
of Deborah, the Card Captain of this week
on our Yahoogroup. She showed a bookmark card.
So today I share with you my version.
I uised a panelof kraft colored paper for this card
and stamped the nonagon stamp randomly with
brown ink. With some holografic gold dot stickers
I decorated the stamped images.
Then on ivory white paper (1,5 x 5 inch) I stamped
the image again and embossed it with copper
embossing powder. I made sure that the middle
part ( the circle) was centered on the
bookmark. On top I stamped the circle and embossed
it too. Below a sentiment was stamped inside the circle.
In the center of the circle I pnched a
hole and added some embroidery thread
as decoration for the bookmark,
Also on the bookmark I added a few of the
holographic gold stickers.
Here you see the finished card.
Before adding the kraft panel to the
card a few cuts were made to add the
bookmark to the card. Only after
that you add the panel to the card.
Great gift card for booklovers!
Have a creative day!
This is a wonderful card, love the added bookmark, as you say a great card and gift for a book lover. Great use of the stamp. Love it all.

Fabulous example Hetty!
ReplyDeleteLove how you have used the stamps, and the colours you have used and how you 'swapped' them for the bookmark. You have inspired me to make a bookmark for a card front feature.
