Sunday scrap page: Lego

I love playing with Lego and I have lots of it
and have so many fun hours with my grandkids building.
Last Tuesday started out as a rainy day, so we got the boxes
out and had a fun day.
I made my page today in one of those pocket pages.
Papers are by Club Scrap and the 1 inch circle stamp
is by Michael Strong. For the journaling i found a fun Lego Brix
free font here

To make the lego bricks  cut squares of 2 x 2 inch and strips
of 2 x 1 inch. I ambossed the circles in the main colors and
puched them out with a 1 inch circle punch.

Behind two of the photo's I made my own papers.
For this I used the main colors green, blue, red and yellow
(that you see in the lego bricks) of distress ink.

After coloring the paper, I stamped the circles and used
a stencil for the circles.

On this one I embossed the circles in red.

These papers look great behind the photo's

(but are also great for using as a background for a card).
Look at them having fun playing!
In the afternoon the weater became nicer and when the twin was sleeping,
Owen and I build a zoo outside on the terrace.
I found thi image on internet and used it to make the little
lego dolls. I printed these on yellow paper, cut them
out with scissors and made a face on it with a black marker.
Feel free to safe the image to your computer.

Thank you for looking
and have  creative day!

Your lego scrap page is amazing, Hetty! Great reminder of the fun you had with the grandkids-both for you and for them! Love how you used Mike's medallion for the "legos". Also, how you made your own papers stamping circles and using a stencil! Perfect colors and shapes to resemble the legos!!! Thanks for the lego man image too! Cute how you made him in yellow for your page! You are so creative! Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful 'lego' day you had Hetty, and obviously enjoyed. A great way to remember it with this wonderful layout, so beautifully themed.
