Sunday Scrap Page: Zoo

Hello! Rainy Sunday here, so a good day for scrapping.
We were lucky with the weather yesterday when we
were visiting the Zoo in Amersfoort/The Netherlands.
We made so many pictures, but only a few made it for my scrap
page. I choose those pictures that also had a stamp by Michael Strong.
I used Club Scrap papers that we got in on of the retreats I was.
I think the set was called Safari. I used the ALSB (assembly line
scrapbooking) instructions to make this page.
On the yop of the page you see the owl stamp and
the smaller elephants. You find all the stamps on the
site of Michael Strong. Because the page is already
quite busy, i choose to keep the stamping simple.
Using white ink on black paper for all the stamps.
Do you see the giraffe stamp? It is tucked away
behind the red ribbon.

Yes, we had a lot of fun at the zoo. It was just the
two of us without any grandkids and we had all the time
to make lots of animal pictures. Here some more:

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

  1. Very nice Hetty. I like how you incorporated the stamps on your layout. DH and I just went to an African Lion Safari where we took a bus through to see the animals in the wild. Many people drove their own cars but we didn't want to chance having our car damaged as monkeys were seen all over the cars.

  3. What a fun day that must have been Hetty - sometimes it is nice to just be 'you' and to do something you like. I think the fact that you only used photos of animals that you had stamps for made for a very interesting page - I love it
