Welcome to a Club Scrap Team challenge.
We know that soon you are thinking GIFTS,
so today in our blog hop we hope to inspire
you with our DIY gift making.
The hop starts on the Club Scrap Blog
(where you find all the disigners)
but I hope you came here from
and enjoyed her idea for a gift.
So here is my gift idea.
In the last hop I shared with you a gift idea for
TEA (you can still find it here),
so today I have something for coffee lovers.
A gift box with coffee and chocolate and
even a pocket for a gift card.
Of course you want to have some instructions,
so let's start with the template for the cover,
the inside and the chocolate box
Do click on the photo, so you have a larger version
and read all the measurements.
For the papers of this gift box I used Crewel and
Unusual papers from the 2016 Febuary kit.
This is the start of the inside of the giftbx "book".
For decoration I leave the creativity
up to you. I stamped some papers or I used decorated
paper (helps making it faster!)
After contructing the box for chocolates,
I advise you to use some read strong tape (the red version!)
This is ribbons and brads from the kit and perfect to make
the bands that hold the coffee sachets.
The ribbons are 7,5 inch long and taped down
in the back.
On the other side I added sugar sachets, a spoon and a
gift card (but you can also add a sweet card in the
pocket with a wish. The coffee cup is made with
a Tim holtz die and stamps from 2008 Gift Tag set (Club Scrap).
Here used 4 inch long ribbon and made a slit
half way to tuck in the ribbon. of course the ribbon is
taped down in the back.
Here a template of the pocket.
Click on the photo to see the larger version
to read all the sizes better.
Everything taped to the box
and now filled with delicious goodies.
On the spine of the book-box I added the text
with a vintage alphabet from 2007 Fizz ( one
of my favourites).
To decorat the outside cover I made these tags with
cupes. They are die cuts from Tim Holtz.
The tags I stamped with my Mocha Java stamps.
al papers are still from
the Crewel and Unusal kit.
Well, this was my contribution, but there is so much more.
The next gift ideayou find on
so do go and have a look.
If you lose your way,
go back to the Club Scrap Blog
for all the details and links.
Thank you very much for looking
and wishing you a creative day!
