Here we are with another kind of baby cards:
a card for the new grandmother.
For this card I used a stamp from the
2003 Stampin'Up! set Sketches.
The sentiment however is from a set called
Beautiful You and is a very popular new stampset
in the Spring/Summer 2017 catalogue.
You can find that catalogue here.
(and if you need any stamps, you can contact me for ordering)
Now to share with you how the card is made:
the background is done in the acrylic block stampin.
For this you need 2 or more colors of in, an acryl block,
a water spritzer and paper (aquarel paper is what I used).
- Stamp the ink direct to to acryl block
- Spray a little water on it
- and stamp on the paper
This is the background that I got
after stamping. It varies every time
you stamp and also depends on how much
water you spray on it.
After the background has dried I took the stamp
and black in to stamp on the background.
Also the sentiment was stamped in the right
hand corner at the botom.
Then with a water brush and the darkest ink
color I colored the blanket of the baby to
give that an extra accent.
Each of the finished cards I decorated
with sequins matching the background colors.
Thank you fro looking
and have a creative day!

These are so VERY beautiful Hetty, Love the background and the fact you shaded the blanket a little darker. LOVE the colours too.

These are gorgeous Hetty - love how you have made the background and then stamped over it. It is always lovely to receive a card when you become a grand mother :-)
