So today I wanted to work on some cards for
my grandson. He just loves lions. He can draw them
so perfectly (being only 4,5 yr).
So I went to pinterest to find an idea for a lion's card
and here you see the result.
A drawn head and hearts for the mane of the lion.
This sentiment is written and printed with the computer.
Here is the head for you to have,
so you can make this card too.
Start with printing the face to cardstock.
Then stamp the small heart stamp (from Michael Strong)
and emboss it with mirror gold and orient express embossing
powder. Now if you do not have this stamp, of course
you can use another heart stamp or use a heart punch
or die that you have.
Cut out the lions face and the hearts. I used 8 hearts.
Arrange the hearts around the face. You can use either
double sided tape or glue to attach the manes.
Behind the lion I added one of the beautiful
ribbons from D.L.ART.
The sentiment I made up with the computer and printed to
attach to the front of the card with 2 little hearts
punched out with a paper punch.
Here is the inside of the card and I used a digital
image from Create with TLC and colored it with
pencil. Also a little scrap from the design paper
I used at the front, I used here inside with more
little punched out hearts from the left over yellow paper.
Here is another card, to show you, you can also
make this lion card when yu do not have the
heart stamp, but just a heart shaped punch or die.
The sentiment here is one from Create with TLC.
And inside the card another sentiment by
Create with TLC and some left over paper
and punched out hearts.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
