Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.
I share with you my card for the
Fab Friday blog
and The Daily Marker color challenge.
Here you see the sketch from the
Fab Friday blog, you find there all the details.
Let me share with you how I made the background
for this card. I started with these two color burst
bottles on the white card. Sprayed it with water
and this is the result.
Next this circle stencil. It looks like bubbles in the water.
With broken china oxide distress ink and a blending tool
I got the bubbles on the background.
Then the seaweed stamp was stamped in peeled paint
oxide distress ink. The turtle and the seaweed are from
a set by Michael Strong.
Then i stamped the turtle on a seperate piece of paper.
With walnut stain and peeled paint oxide inks and
a waterbrush i colored the turtle. Just stamp the inkpad
on the kraft sheet and use the ink to color the image.
Here you see the image on the card as well as the
sentiment. it is a digital printed sentiment by
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Dang, what a beautiful underwater scene - gorgeous! I love your play by play of how you achieved it, too - so awesome to see the steps! And of course, super cute turtle, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday! (My grandmother's name was Hetty - so excited to see you share it! I don't see it out there often...)
Wonderful background. I like the idea of how you stencilled over your colourful background. Great card as always.
Love your underwater scene. Have some Color Bursts but haven't done much with them. I've been sick so much this winter, but am well now and hope to add some DI Oxides to my stash. . . and hopefully USE them! Thanks again for some inspiration.
That background is so cool...all the depth and color! It's perfect for that sweet turtle and fun sentiment...I need to find my inner turtle I think! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
Love the colors and that background is fabulous! Thanks for playing at Fab Friday!
Fabulous, I think I should take that advice LOL.
