You are framed by the Club Scrap Artist team

Today the Club Scrap Artist Team
is being framed and
will share with you all kinds of "framed" cards.

I hope you have arrived here from
and seen what she has framed.

I remembered these fun fold frame cards
and I made a few to share here.
For my cards I used the Club Scrap
Vintage  Botany papers and stamps.
For the frames I used a piece of paper 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch.
How to make the frame is easy and there is this perfect
and I just could not have made better pictures.

Now these frames are perfect for  the center attention
of a stamp, a sentiment and even for a picture.
I made a sample of each of these ideas.
For this card I used one of the Vintage Botany rubber
stamp. The rose is so wonderful. I stamped and embossed
it with black embossing powder and colored it with watercolor ink.
The sentiment - also from the Vintage Botany stamps - was
stamped on one of the cut out borders and than made to the
right size of the card. Don't you love that ribbon lace.
Yes, also with this kit!
For this card the sentiment is the center of attention.
It is also one of the rubber stamps.
In the background and for the sun I used a metal die.
And on the sun I punched out a flower with a 1 inch punch.

At the righthand corner there are some butterflies
that were punched out, glued to the background and
with a gemstone for the bling of this card.
And here is the third card with a picture of my
twin grandsons. These frames are also wonderful
for scrapbooking!
The backpanel is embossed with tiny hearts. And the sentiment
is a cut up boarder from the kit. The tiny sticky pearls and
the yellow ribbon (from my stash) complete this card.

Now for some other frame ideas, you can hop on to
and see what she has framed for you.

Thank you so much for looking
and have a creative day!

Coffee and CAS 116

Today my card was inspired by the challenge on
My wheels are this truck, that sells coffee!
The truck a and coffee rings are stamps by
I started by adding a little vintage walnut ink
to the background and stamped the coffee
rings with the same color.

The coffee cup to go on the top was stamped on green and white
paper and cut out parts from the white paper to add to the green.
The sleeve has been run through the crimper.

The sentiment is from a set by Verve Stamps, called
Typewriter Coffee.

Thank you for looking and
have a creative day!

Michael Strong Black & White Blog Hop

Welcome to our
I hope you have arrived here from
Michael Strong's blog and seen what new stamp
is ahead and his beautiful card. Don't forget
to leave a comment for you might win the new stamp!

For my first card I used Michael Strong's coffee cup
stamp and a panda die by Marianne Design.
I made the sentiment up with the computer.
I have it here for you as a freebie.

Just click on the image and save it to your computer.
I used the sentiment on another card:
For this card I  stamped Michael Strong's
Lily background stamp in black.
The bee is a stamp from another set called
The sentiment is printed and cut out with a shaped die
and a matching larger one for the black paper.
The bee was stamped on last.
The 3rd card for this hop is made with
the Cloisonné Accents stamps.
They are stamped and embossed with
black embossing powder. Next they are
punched out with a 1 inch punch.
The butterfly is also a punch.
The birthday sentiment is from the Words set
and embossed with white embossing
powder. On each side of the sentiment
there is a little sticky pearl.

Now there is a lot more inspiration for you
and please move on to the next hop
see whgat a beautiful card she made.

I stamped the butterfly in versamark on parchment paper
and embossed it with black embossing powder and cut out

Sea Scenery

Today I have a blogpost on the ART NEKO blog
sharing some sea stamps caklled Mermaids and Ocean Life.
When I finished the card I had some backgrounds left and
I created two atc's with it to share here.
You find the details of my card on the Art Neko Blog.

For the atc's I also have made some direct to paper backgrounds
with broken china oxide distress ink.
I have a die that is like a fishnet and I cut this out of white paper.
To give it a more net color, I colored it with brown ink
and by accident one of the  atc was underneath, so with
this lucky accident I had some net coloring on this card.
It worked like a stencil.

The sentiments on the atc are by my friend Joanne and she has
a great page on Facebook were she shows you all her fun sentiments.
Take a look here: Stampin' Funn.

Same technique for the background,
random stamping and adding the net
with a piece of baker's twine.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap July Blog Hop: Vintage Botany

Welcome to the monthly
We are sharing the July kit with you for ideas.
This month the kit is called:

I hope you have arrived here from
and seen her beautiful artwork.

My contribution ia a mini album for this
hop today. You need one 12x12 piece of cardstock for it!

For this album I  created a closure with one of
the wooden buttons that came with this kit.
Only the problem was that they were all lengthwise.
So i sanded the backside and stamped it horizontal.

I choose one of the beautiful decorated flower papers
for this album and used my score board for all the lines.
Here is the template for the album.
If you enlarge the picture (by clicking on it),
you can read all the measurements.

After cutting some parts away you start folding it.
I added some vintage brown ink on all the folds.

I decorated my album with garden pictures, stamps,
cut aparts and using the stencil that all came with this kit.

On the right side i created a pocket. You can do this for
all 3 if you want, but I wanted some more space for
adding pictures.

Yhis is the album all folded open.

I just love this sentiment and I used it multiple tmes.
It also looks great for decoration in the background.

Here you see I used the stencil for decorating
the background of these pages. The twins have
fun playing in the garden.

Now when you lift the card from the pocket
there is another picture to see, that I added to the
back panel of the pocket.

Also I want to share my digital page again.
After I finished making the page, I printed it, but it was to small for
my 12x12 scrapalbum, so what to do?
I took one of the yellow 12x12 inch pages from the paper kit
and stamped and decorated the background. Adding some
of the cut aparts and I turned the digital page into a real page.

For more inspiration, hop over to
and see what she has in store for you!

Thank you very much for looking
and have a creative day!

The Paper Players sketch with Vintage Botany

While working on my Club Scrap projects for tomorrow,
I also made these cards with the sketch of

and you find all the details here.

Both cards are made with Club Scrap's Vintage Botany
papers and stamps. On this card I also used the
that came with this kit.

For this card I used the dandelion stamp in the
background and the cute tag that also came with this kit.

Hope you come back tomorrow and see what cute
project I came up with for this hop.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Simon Says Stamp Stars

I just loved the theme for this weeks challenge
where they are seeing stars. As I did not want to make a
Christmas card, I looked at my favorite coffee
stamps and came up with this idea.

I started with printing the words on white paper
and cut it out to size for the square 5,25x5,25 inch kraft
colored card. Next I cut the distressed doily from sizzix
by Tim Holtz and colored it with vintage distress oxide ink.

Then I took out the coffee stamps from Concored & 9th
called Let's Chat to make this cup and spoon.

For the cream i embossed the circle with white seafoam
embossing powder and for the star I made a template, so I could
color it with vintage distress oxide ink.

The spoon is stamped on silver paper and a tiny
star is added on top of the spoon.
Thank you for looking
ánd have a latte creative day!
