Today I was inspired by the delicious image
on the Cupcake Inspiration Blog.
I found this dotted paper in my stash and
just loved cutting it
and stacking it with the choclate brown colored
paper. I think the die cut birthday sentiments was
enough to finish the card. I just added a fun party hat
amnd put some icing on the sentiment (glossy accent).
Now I had some dotted paper left and did not
want to trow it away, so I used it to make this fun
spinner card for my grandson's graduation
to the next class after the Summer vacation.
Yes, he is my little star!
I am hosting a spinner card challenge on the
Club Scrap blog, so that is how I just
had to make another spinner card.
I love the idea to have the sentiment spinning also!
The star is a rubber stamp by Michael Strong
and the sentiment is made with the computer.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
Love your cards Hetty, but I think my computer has distorted the colours because to me it looks like a dull brick red on the dotted paper and green on the solid in the first card, and the second card looks a brick red too!!
ReplyDeleteLove your spinner card, and so beautifully custom made for Owen too!
Blessings

Both Wonderful cards, love the hat over the sentiment, love the colour combination of it too, as for the spinner, what a wonderful card to give to a little one to play with, Love it.
