With the new Club Scrap Lagoon kit I
played challenge #117 on the Addicted to CAS blog.
You find all the details on the
Addicted to CAS Challenge Blog,
As my real stamps have not arrived yet, I printed the
mermaids tail and the sentiment first on 250 grs
white cardstock and cut it to cardsize and folded it so now
there is a card of 4,25 x 5,5 inch.
Next I printed the tail again on copy paper and
cut it out to cover de tail on the card. I got some of
my Club Scrap stencils and inks out to make a matching
background by using belending tools in various colors.
In the end I used a wave and a dotted stencil to
create the background
amd adding some blue splashes with a brush as well.
Here a close up to the background.
This is how I created my one layered card.
Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

The background is perfect to the mermaids tail :)
Thank you for playing along with us at Addicted to CAS - Ellenor
It's amazing how much "movement" the way stencil creates on the background. I can almost see that tail moving! Great design Hetty!
