fantasyic prizes!

Today I have two cards to share. I found this fun sentiment
on puinterest and just came up with these cards.
For card #1 I made the background with two
Tim Holtz stencils and distress oxide inks (fossilized amber
and cracked pistachio). The coffee cup with the bird is a die.

Here is the sentiment, you might want to use it too.
I found it on pinterest.
For the second card I made this direct to paper
background with walnut stain ink and then embossing
it with the coffee cups. The coffee cup is a die from
Stamping Up!. The ribbon is colored with fossilized
amber distress oxide ink. For the extra bling I added
a few orange sequins.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: day 4

Welcome to day 4 of the
with the inside pages of the atc booklet.

If you also add a card, atc or other coffee/tea project
you can win some great prizes.

So here another look at the outside I shared with
you yesterday and the contruction of this mini book.

So here is the first inside pages, decorated
with one of the sentiments from the
Your Next Stamp set. I also used a Sizzix coffee
ring die and a coffee ring stamp from Club Scrap.
The coffee can is from Stampin'Up!
I cut it out from their scrap paper.

Inside the little enveloppe you find this atc.

For the atc I used the coffee stampset
from Michael Strong. The macarons
are a stamp that came as a freebie
with a stamp magazine.
First I stamped the steam on the background.
The cups are stamped on the kraft paper and
embossed with brown embossing powder.
After cutting them out, I made a slit in two of them
so I can stack them. A piece of foam tape
holds them together and tapes them to
the background. Next I stamped and colored
the macarons and also added them with
foamtape to the background.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: day 3

Welcome to another day of the
You can add your own card or project
and be elligible to one of the fabulouze prizes,
so don't forget to check out the blog.

Today I share a project with you and will show you
the inside in the next couple of days. It is a little
booklet that holds a few coffee atc's.
This booklet is 4 x 4 inch on the outside.
I also loved the sentiments from the
Your Next Stamp set and I will use them for
this booklet.
I used the envelope punch board to make
the inside pages. The papers I used are from
a Tim Holtz paper block.
When the enveloppes were finished I colored
them with walnut stain ink.

All sides were colored with the ink.

The 4 x 4 inch hardboard covers are decorated
with torn strips of the same paper I used for
the enveloppes.

When the ouside was finished with the torn paper
I covered the inside with a square piece of
3,5x 3,5 inch of Tim Holtz paper.

Front and back and 3 enveloppes.

The book is put together with the zutter
and a metal ring.
Her you see it from above holding the enveloppes.

The rings are in black and it has a vintage look.

This is the front of the book. I found some vintage pictures
on my computer and printed these to make some atc's with.
Besides the picture I used the Michael Strong mini coffee
cup, sentiment by Your Next Stamp, tea bag die by
Stampin'Up! and rectange wave die from my stash.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

beautiful surroundings and they looked stunning!

Did you have a good look at Queen Elizabeth?
Well she knew all about the Club Scrap
Lavender Fields kit and was dressed accordingly.
I made the pictures from the television with my ipad
and quickly made this pages after watching.

Card Captain day 5: Coffee

Welcome to the last day of me being the card captain
on the Enjoy Michael Strong Stamp group.
Did you think when is the coffee card coming?
Well, I waited until the last day!

You find Michael Strong's coffee stamp here.

I enter my card for the color and sketch challenge

So I started this card bij stamping the coffee steam
with versamark ink and embossed this with white
embossing powder.

You can see the steam white on white.
With salty ocean distress oxide ink and a blending
tool i colored all of the background. When finished
I took a paper towel to rub of the ink of the steam.

Then with blueprint sketch I stamped the steam again
on top of the lighter blue background.

The sentiment  by Your Next Stamp (from a set that is
not available anymore, but with wonderful sentiments)
is stamped with versifine ink. YNS has many other
wonderful coffee stamps that you can find HERE.

With washi tape I marked the lines as in the sketch.

And here are the mini coffee cups. Stamped on blue
paper and embossed in white.

After cutting them out, I added them to the card,
each with a little pearl on top.
I also want to let you know that soon there is another
coffee blog hop again with lots of wonderful prizes.
So keep on the look out on the
(also if you love tea!).

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
