Mojo Monday 501

It seems a sad time for not only my family,
but for some of my friends as well,
so that is why I made this condolance card.

I used the new sketch by Julee Tilman
that you can find on her

The butterflies are made with thinlits

Each butterfly consists of two parts. The gold
filigree part and the plain background.
All the papers on this card are colored with
the direct paper technique with seedless
preserves oxide distress ink in combination
with copper mica distress spray,
All the rubber stamps on this card are
Club Scrap Spring Chorus April 2013.

Tribute for Betty

This is  was my Mother-in-Law Betty.
She was world famous for her applen pie.
She died last Thursday and we will burry her on
Sunday next to her husband.
So in memory of her  and her delicious apple pie
I made this card.

By accident Create with TLC has an apple pie
digital freebie here and I used it to make the pie.
The sentiment is also by Create with TLC.
Food was very imortant for my MIL, there
always had to be plenty!
This lady is a stamp by Stampin'Up! from the
set "You've got style". I alwaus found this lady
looking just like my MIL. Always perfectly dressed
and red lips.
The image is colored with distress crayons.

The background stamp is part of an old
apple pie border stamp by PSX.
I colored with distress crayons and water.

Apple pie and sentiment by Create with TLC.

Rest in Peace, Betty.

Graciellie Design for Sunday Sip Sketch

As all the images of
that I have are digital, I created a
card in photoshop.
The sketch Sunday Sip and Share
was perfect to use.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Graciellie Design Winner

This was the sign of
on World Card Making Day
on the Facebook Coofee Loving papercrafters
and she offered a prize of $ 50,- of stamps
in her shop and you only had to leave a comment.
Guess what....!
I was the winner!!
So I picked some wonderful digital stamps
that are delivered without postage to my computer.
Today I made my first card:
The cup and tag are from the set
Stay Cozy (that I had my eye on
for some time already).

For the background I used this Tim Holtz stencil
and some oxide ink colors and nuvo glitter paste.

I also used the glimmer paste on the heart of the cup.

The cup and tag are colored with pencil
and cut out with scissors (still on the lookout
for one of those cutting machines...any tips?)

With digital stamps it is easy to adapt
sentiments and fit them in places you want
them to fit, like here the tag.

A ribbon and some paper flowers from my stash
complete the card.

In the background you see some glimmer
of the Nuvo paste.

Thanks again Graciellie for picking
me. I will have so much fun with all
your images, especially the lovely coffee
ones you have!

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month,
a worldwide annual campaign involving thousands of organisations,
to highlight the importance of breast awareness,
education and research.

I share with you this card I made for a friend
with the coffee sleeve gift.

For the card I used all materials by Stampin'Up!
The coffee thinlits, the paper and the sentiment
from the set Ribbon Courage.
The ribbon on the coffee sleeve is a punch
and the ribbon is from my stash.

The background is made with this die from the set.
After cutting out all these cups, the hot pink comes
trough quite well.

Here you see the sleeve of the coffee up.
The free pattern for the pink ribbon I found here:

For the sleeve I took out some left overs in my basket
and made up the pattern myself. Just started a chain of
stiches measuring the cup and freely added the colors.

With a button the sleeve is kept around the cup.

and have a creative day!

Don't forget your check-up!

Sunday: sketch day!

I have been playing with Club Scrap papers
and stamps for two sketches.

It has been some time since I made a sketch from
Freshly Made Sketches, so here is their latest:
This card is a combination of the digital
You've got mail images in the background
and rubber stamps from various other
Club Scrap kits.
This is how I created the flower stamps.
First stamp the empty posteroid on the
white paper and next on a piece pf post-it.
Cut out the inside of the posteroid on the post-it
and cover the white stamped image. Now you can ink up
the flower and stamp this on the posteroid.

The flower stamp is from Club Scrap
March 2017 Delft rubber stamps.

The next sketch is the monthly Club Scrap sketch.
You find this in the Club Scrap Chat Facebook group.

I just couldn't resist making another coffee card.
The colors of this month kit were again perfect for it!
Papers and stamps are all Club Scrap. The coffee stamps
are from a very vintage Mocca Java kit.

Thank you very much for looking
and have a creative day!

World Card Making Day 2018

Today especially I made time to make some cards!
Hope you did too!
For my cards today I used the Club Scrap
and the sketch from the

I started with printing some backgrounds
and a card I made in Photoshop.

This is the card made in Photoshop.
After printing you just fold and the card is ready.
The background I used to make a more hybrid card.

After cutting the background I used some washi tape
to make the borders.
Next I made some stamps with this old alphabet
I have from Club Scrap 2004 Feb TYWL.
I first stamped the letter stamps and then used
blue and brown oxide ink with the direct to
paper technique. With a special scissor the
stamps were cut.

The sentiment in the middle is made with
the Club Scrap Retreat alphabet 2007 and some
small letters I have in my stash.

and have a creative day!
