Oh my, I can hardly believe it, but I was a winner
at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:
Stars and Stripes.
You can see it here.
That does not mean I stop making cards for this blog.
Here is my new card for this weeks challenge:
"Add a Number" at
I wanted to make a Summer coffee card,
so I choose all happy volors and an iced tea image.
For my card I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder
and rubber stamp.
The inks are all distress oxide inks.
How to get ll these colors on your card?
Open the embossing folder and on the side that
embosses the front of the card you add all colors of
ink BEFORE embossing. Add a few drops of water
and lay down the cardstock. Now run this through
the embossing machine and when you open
the folder you have this colorful card.
Now for all the details I stamped and colored
with the inks and Tim's stamps.
The number is a die by Stampin'Up!
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
What a fun, colorful card!! You always make such beautiful cards Hetty!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful technique and card, Hetty. I have the stamp and I just got the embossing folder. Going to try it out! Thanks 😊
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on winning the challenge! How fun!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your win Hetty. Love this fabulous make, and how you have used the number as part of the sentiment, rather than and 'age' number
