When I see apples, I think of card for the Jewish New Year, because
with a sweet apple and honey we wish each other a very sweet year.
In two weeks it is Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) so here
are some quick card ideas if you need them.
In two weeks we celebrate the New Year.
I found this wonderful apple free printable
in the Printables for your junkjournaling with TLC
Facebookgroup HERE.
Or go to the Create with TLC blog
to grab the free printable HERE.
And I printed it several times and tried to made
a few very different cards.
For this one I made a background with a set of stencils
and distress oxide ink.
The sentiment is printed with the computer and the leaves
are punched out.
Here is the sentiment for you to use.
Feel free to save it to your own computer.
The sentiment is the Hebrew way of saying:
Happy New Year.
Here I just added some colors of paper,
a piece of twine and the sentiment. A very quick card.
This card is made with a yellow background and a honeycomb
stencil background. The sentiment is a rubberstamp b
The apples are cut out and the honey jar is a stamp by
Stampin'Up! from a set called Jar of Love.
For the last card I used 2 Tim Holtz stencils,
the jar of love, cut out apples and a Hebrew sentiment
by Zumgaligali Rubberstamps.
As you must have noticed, there are two free apple printables on the
and so here are also some cards made with the other printable.
For this card I printed the image on heave cardstock
and only added the apple on top (SU! punch from the
new Winter catalogue) and added the sentiment on top.
This last card is a little more work.
First i made the background with a SU! stencil
and inks. Only the border , for on the inside the printable
will be fastned and with to much ink, it wont stay
glued.
Next i used a posteroid die for the green paper and
measured the printable for cutting.
The sentiment punched out and with a piece of yellow
card stock i cut out the rosette with a sizzix/tim holtz die.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
