Here is my card: I flipped the turle horizontal and colored

it with Stampin'blends.

Happy Chinese New Year

Today the Chinese New Year starts and this year is the 

year of the rat. Goodbye year of the pig.

The Rat:

If you are born in the year 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984,

1996 of 2008 than you are a rat and rats are believed to be

very industrious and thrifty, dilligent and positive.

Of course I wanted to make a card for the new year and I came across

 a wonderful tutorial here by Frenchie. The tutorial is HERE.

It is a tent card.

I added a little of my own.

The heart is a stamp by Michael Strong

and the sentiment is from my stash.

On the side of the rat I added the flower stamp by Michael Strong.

The are embossed in silver. I was inspired by seeing this decoration

when I googled for the rat image.

Photo Challenge

Here we are on the last day of the 

10th Annual Birthday Bash at the

Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.

Today is a photo challange.

Here is my card with the circle sentiment "Birthday Ewe".

The image is colored with stampin'blends and cut out

with  a circle die. The matching scallop cirle die I used for

a glitter blue background (hard to see on picture).

Background is design papers and balloons are cut out

with a paper punch.

Bugaboo Color Challenge

Another day down at the farm over at the

is a color challenge.

Here my card with  "Ewe are Fabulous" colored with

stampin'blends and the background is created with

several Tim Holtz stencils and distress oxide inks.

The sentiment is created with Tim Holtz sentiment stickers.

Bingo Bash

So here is the next challenge on the

Catch the Bug Blog:

For my card I used the 

lady-bug-bear image.

In the Summer there are lots of ladybugs on the farm.

The bingo is: ticket - bugaboo image - 3 layers

(I did not count the ticket as a layer ;-)

The lady-bug is coloured with stampin' blends.

The ticket is by Tim Holtz.

On the wings Iadded glitter glue, which is

much nicer in person.

Anything but a card

So another challenge on the

Bugaboo 10th Annual Birthday Bash

is anything but a card.

So I made these baby pillboxes for little gifts.

Baby socks fit in perfectly.

The cute baby cow was a July freebie at one time,

but i cannot find it in the shop anymore.

Around the images (cut with a thinlit die with holes)

I crochet these cute borders. With foam tape the

circles are attached to the boxes, that where cut out

of design paper with a Marianne Design pillbox creatable.

Bugaboo digital stamps - sketch

Here I am with another challenge on the

Bugaboo 10th Annual Birthday Bash.

This time it is a sketch challenge

and this is my card:

For my card i used the image: Kitchen Chicken Soup.

I colored the image with stampin blends,

used a die to cut out the image and the strips

behind the image are embossed.

The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Tim Holtz.

Humour me on Bugaboo Digital Stamps

This time I am not making the cards in the right order

for the

  Bugaboo 10th Annual Birthday Bash.

I downloaded this "hey there"freebie HERE.

When I finished the card, I knew it as for the 

Humour Me Wednesday Challenge.

I have this sentiment some time and thought

it fitted perfectly on this card. 

It is by Create with TLC.

The image is colored with markers and

I made the frame looking like wooden

boaeds by adding lines and nails.

Bugaboo Digital stamps celebrates their 10th year

with a Birthday Bash that lasts a week.

You can paricipate each day in different challenges.

For the first day it is to create 

a farm theme related project.

So here is my birthday card for 10 years Bugaboo

digital stamps. I used  this cow freebie I have in my

Bugaboo album stash on my computer.

The numbers are cut with thinlits from Stampin'Up!

and silver paper (always hard to capture on a photo).

The sentiment is also by Stampin'Up!.

The grass is a paper punch.

Club Scrap sketch and technique

Today I  share with you two cards I made 

for  two challenges on the Club Scrap Chat

Facebook group: Technique and card sketch.

The technique for January is the ghosting technique

For this card I used a Funky Fossile Design stencil

called Bubbles. Paper and stamps

are from my various Club Scrap coffee kits.

The second card is for the sketch challenge:

For the sketch challeng I got out my Lagoon stamps

and a mermaid stencil.

For the background I did not use two

papers, but made it with two colors in the 

ghosting technique.

The mermaid and bubble stamp for the center

panel are colored with distress inks.

Bugaboo Anything Goes Challenge

This week the challenge on the

Catch The Bug Challenge Blog

is Anything Goes.

Here is another desk calender (yes, January is my calendar month!).

I used a piece of 8,5 x 11 inch cardstock for the base of the calendar.

Score horizontal at 4 - 8 - 9 -10 inch.

The images are by Bugaboo (boy with board)

Club Scrap (digital Coffeehouse kit)

and the sentiment I typed and printed with the computer.

It took a few sample prints to get the right size

of the digital image to be able to fit the mini calendar.

I bougt this in a hobby shop, but you can make your own

by printing this calendar HERE. Cut it up and staple it

together.

The image is colored with SU! Stampin Blends.

These images are all digital Club Scrap.
