CTS #383

Here the sketch from the
that i used for my card today.

I made a card for someone who loves frogs.
I have these cute stamps from Penny Black
already for years, but you can always use them.

I colored the frog with Stampin'Blends.
The flowers are from my stash and I added the cute tiny button
with waxed floss.

The sentiment is from a Strampin'Up! set from last year:
Beautifully Braided.
Finishing off the card with a heart gemstone for
some extra bling.

FMS #446

Today I play with a skinny card (the new rage everywhere)

My card is made with stencil and stamps from
I used the tulip field stencil
and the Bees Knees clear stamp set.

I made the background with 2 colors
of oxide distress ink:
 picked raspberry and twisted citron.
With post-it notes I coverd the stencil
so no ink would come in wrong places.

The fungus are stamped and colored with
markers. The bees are stamped on
a separate piece of paper, colored with markers,
cut out with scissors and added to the card
with foam tape.

A Bunch of Cards 2

Here is the rest of the cards, that I made yesterday.
When you have had a look at Tricia's instructions video
on the Club Scrap Blog
you have seen that with a few cuts, you make 6 cards.
Instead of 2 design papers I took one design paper
(see cards yesterday) and one plain white paper.

With the plain papers I used 3 different stencils to decorate.
For the first card I used the Shibori stencil and blue and yellow
oxide distress ink.

And to finish the card I used the images from the
I colored the images with markers.
It is a pity you doi not see the gold glimmer stickers
I used for a bit of bling on the card.

The next card is Club Scrap Papers
and stencil and stamps by Funky Fossils Design.

You find the paw print background here.

The dogs are Pugs & Hugs and stamped on colored paper.

For the last card all images and stencil are Club Scrap
I have this stencil from 2014.
The flower stamps and the bees are colored with markers.

You see these z-fold cards are great for any occasion.
Thanks so much for looking,

A bunch of cards

Inspired by the formula of z-fold cards on the
Club Scrap Blog I made a few cards myself
with Club Scrap papers and Michael Strong's
butterfly rubber stamp.

There are also some more instructions
with a video by Tricia HERE.
All the cards have Dutch sentiments this time. This one says:
Congratulations. The background papers are a sheet from
the Papillon kit.

For the top two cards I used watercolor paper for the butterflies.

First I stamped and embossed the butterflies in gold.
Then i made a mix of distress ocide colors, added a few
drops of water and dipped the butterflies in the ink.
After cutting out the were glued to the cards with
foam tape only on the body, leaving the wings loose.

Here you see the card colded in a z.
The are ease to send folded and fit into a normal envelop.

FMS #445

Today I played for another challenge.
The sketch challenge on the
Here my card with my newest stamps from

I started with using this cloud stencil and
2 kinds of distress oxide inks.
The outerline of the stencil I used for the green
part of this card.

Next I stamped all images on a seperate piece of
paper and colored them with stampin´blends.
After cutting them out, I added them to the card.

For the bee I made a tiny wobble
with wire and double sided tape.

Simon Says Let's go to the Beach

Today we go to the beach again and
this time for the

This is my card with a distress oxide ink background
and stamps from Michael Strong (seashell and starfish)
and Funky Fossil Design (bug).

Now that everyone is home and it is quiet at the beach,
all the little animals can come out and
can have their fun on the beach.

I colored some papers with distress inks
and next I stamped on them and embossed them
with gold and silver embossing powder.
Nem i cut out all the images.

The sentiment is a sticker from a Tim Holtz binder.

Of course the little left over strip goes inside the card.

Ocean/Beach Challenge on Sisterhood of Crafters.

Today I play for The Sisterhood of Crafters
and something totally different from last week.

No Christmas, today it is:
Ocean or Beach:
For my card I used the following:
Club Scrap mermaids tail, bubbles and seastar from the Lagoon set
Funky Fossil Design mermaid scales stencil,
She is Fierce stamps and Small Print Stamps.

I started with the stencil and texture paste.
On the paste I added speckled egg embossing powder.
This was left to dry and then I used a heat gun on the
embossing powder. Learned this from one of Tim Holtz
live video´s (they are all on his Facebook).

Next I colored the paper with distress oxide inks
and also sprayed some silver mica distress spray on it.

Stamping an coloring the images I wanted to use was next.
A combination of ink and stampin'blends.

Here part of the finished card.
It is a pitty you cannot see the glitter of the
silver spray and the tiny silver holographic
stickers I added.
