Hello Crafty Friends
For today I create a set of fun backgrounds
with the wonderful Spring Geometrics papers
by Funky Fossil Designs and the
stamps from the new Let's Party stamp set.
For this technique you print out the grid below
and choose a design paper. You can also use all the scraps
you have left from these papers. I found this punch
among my stash, that was just the right size.
Save the grid to your computer and print it
in the size you like it to be.
If you do noit have a punch, you can also cut strips
of paper and make these into the square size you need.
You need a total of 18 squares.
There are 12 full squares
and the other 6 you cut into half
to use for the border. Glue all the
squares in place and you have a
beautiful background for your card.
Here another sample with the same background.
I also used Pugs and Hugs stamps (the cup and sentiment) and
the Doodle Borders, that fit perctly around the background.
And now for the GIVEAWAY.......
drumroll.......

ReplyDeleteI love the way the BG paper is toned down by the grid paper - and so genius of you to punch out the squares! The kitty as well as the rabbit are just darling ... and of course, I love them sitting in the coffee cup! Very pretty cards, Hetty. Paw-some designs!
ReplyDeleteHello, Hetty! You must have known the kitty would catch my eye! He looks very happy about that big cake behind him! The kitty and the bunny in the cup are adorable too!
