Surprise Blog Hop for Paulette

All of us at the Design Team of
have come up with a surprise Blog Hop for
Paulette,because she needs our hugs
and yours as well to have a speedy recovery
from her unfotunate fall.
You can read what has happened to here HERE.

She has these wonderful freebies on her blog
every day for us to use on our creations.
Now we can do something back for her.

With all these cards I hope she recovers
soon and hope they all plant a smile on her face.
Thank you for everything, Paulette!

With my first card I want to give you a big HUG, Paulette,
and do hope it makes you feel so much better.

I have bunches of blocks of cute background
papers for cards, but never seem to use them.
I tried to use them on these cards.
For the hug card I  made these cute little hands and
have added the template for you.
Just click on the image and  save it to your
computer. You can print it any size you need.

The heart on the finger is a sticky gemstone
and the bracelets are made by washi tape.

Those of you who visit my blog regulary
know that I have a speciallove for coffee cards,
so i had to make one for Paulette.

The coffee cup is by Michael Strong and
stamped with versamark on red paper
and embossed with white embossing powder.

For my last card I used this cute ice cream paper by SU!
(I have it in my stash for quite some time) and think
with the sentiment it makes a cute card.
I printed the sentiment on pistache colored paper
and made this scoop around it and added a scoop
of chocolate too. I added another template here for you.

the blog hop:

TH June tag: Coffee

Here is my version of the June tag
as seen on the Tim Holtz Blog
d there you also find the tutorials on how
 to make your own tag.
I choose to make a coffee tag
with the splatter stencil.
This is the background that I made
with vintage photo,spiced marmalade and
mustered seed distress ink pad.
As tag I choose a kraft tag and stamped
the border with Club Scrap coffee stains.
How you make the bow is also explained on Tim's blog.

The coffee cups and steam are
stamps by Michael Strong
and you find the here.

The coffee time clock is a clock plate from my stash
and those spoons are stamps from Club Scrap
stamped on shrink plastic.

The sentiment is by TimHoltz
(Stampers Anonymous Good Thoughts
CMS085).

I did make some more backgrounds,
but you find out about those soon enough.
Have  a creative day!

CS Picnic: Apron

Imade my husband another card too for Father's Day
because he got anew bbq today and we had a real
fun BBQ dinner party with the family.

I made this card with the digital version
of Club Scrap's Picnic kit.

It is also a great card for invitations
for a BBQ party, here my template for you
so you can make this card too.

The card measures 4 inch by 8 inch folded in half.

The pocket measures 4,5 inch by 2,25 inch incl. the
glue parts, that are folded around the front of the card.
I printed the blue scare paper from the digitalkit
to cut out a smaller size of the apron to use
for decorating the front.

The glove and the utensils also come as clipart
in this digital kit.You can make themany size you need.
The text is printed and made into a tag
to put into the pocket.

BTW you can also add a recipe inside the card.

As a gift you can hang the apron
around the neck of a bottle.

The pocket is decorated with a
technique from the latest
newsletter called: Gradient Markers.

Have a creative day!

Pimping cards

My cards for today are a combination of ready made cards and
stamped images by Michael Strong.

While i was trying to clean my workspace,
I noticed I had quite a few Michael Strong
stampedimageson my table and put them in apile.

Then I found these cards. They come in an envelop
with a letterasking for a donation to a good cause.
I never seem to use these cards, because I make my own.
I loved the colors and the scenes and for
each of them I found a matching stamp
and added a Michael Strong sentiment.

Now that I have personalized the cards, they are
ready to be send out.

For this card I used the Cloisonné elephant set.
Stamped and embossed the stamps and cut out.

Here I stamped the Snow Pals with black ink
and colored the image with markers.

For the last card I used one of the
cloisonné cameos. Stamped and embossed
on dark paper with copper and colored with pencil.

Hope I have given you some ideas to use
your stamps in another way.

Have a creative day!
