The daily Marker day 22 and Simon Says: things with wheels

Around me friends are pregnant, so I need to make some
baby cards, so in the coming days, you will see some
more of these cards.

For today I am inspired by the challene on the
things with weels.
For the challenge things with wheels
I knew I had the pram stamp from Tim Holtz
mini blueprints 8 CMS231.

So i started making the backgound with pink distress paper
embossed with baby feet prints and colored it also
with distress crayons.

Next I used the halftone stamp (CMS260) with black soot
distress oxide ink on top of the embossed paper.

Finally i sprayed some distress Mica spray -
antiqued bronze - on top.

While the background was drying I stamped
the pram with black versafine and colored it with
worn lipstick and  picked raspberry .
The wheels are colored with black soot.

I gave the pram image a sentiment from the
Crazy Talk CMS236 stampset.

The paper flowers are from my stash and the Hello Girl
is stamped on one of the Aged Tickets (I used the
backside). This sentiment is from Stampin'Up!
and is called Celebrate Baby.

Inside i used the strip that I cut of from the
front to make it the right size.

I decorated the envelop with the pram stamped in pink
and the use of the mini florish stencil (set 10).

of course my card is also for day 22 of

The Daily Marker day 21: Simon Says no stamping

No stamping?? It is hard not to touch a stamp,
but I did it!

On the Wednesday Blog of Simon Says Stamp
the challenge is to make a card without the
use of  stamps.
So I started with making the background with
direcht to paper coloring with worn lipstick
and using a alphabet stencil for some extra touches.
Next i used the sizzix coffee cups embossing folder.

With the coloring my card is also for
day 21.

Next i cut the coffee cup with the Tim Holtz Bigz die.
Decorations with a crinkle ribbon and a few paper flowers.

The sentiment is cut out (not stamped!) with a
Verve Stamps coffee die and the wishes from
Tim Holtz.

With a little glue the cut out sentiment
is added to the card.

Thank you very much for looking
and have a latte great day!

The Daily Marker day 20 and CAS color challenge

Today no sketch but a color challenge for my card.

You find this color challenge on the

I used the following stamps for my card:
Tim Holtz Bird Crazy CMS212
Tim Holtz Mini Bouquet CMS269
Tim Holtz Halftone & Rings CMS260
Good thoughts CMS085

I want to share with you how I made this card:

1. get the colors out and my idea was to use the bird stamp.

2. I stamped the bird and the flower on the card
and on a  post-it note for cutting out. After the images are cut out,
I coverd the original stamped images on the card.
3. When the images are covered I used the pear pizzazz
and the halftone stamp for the background of the panel.
4. On top of the background the sentiment is stamped.

5. The flower is colored with the Daffodil Delight
stampin'blend markers.
6. The bird is colored with the ink from the inkpads
and a watercolor brush.

Of course my card is for day 20 of

Thank you for looking
and have a creative and colorful day!

Simon Says: black & white plus one other color

There is one on Monday and one on Wednesday.
I love the do them, they are always so much fun.

For today's Wednesday Challenge it is black and white
and add one other color.
As I was clearing my craftroom I noticed my Penny Black rubber stamps.
I did not use them long time, so foir this challenge I got them out
(and you will see more of them). Once I started coloring i had two
fun cards in a jiffy!

For this card I used Whiskers & Fur 2883J.
The background to this stamp is made with
an embossing folder impressed in black paper
and colored with white ink.
The image is colored with Stampin'blends in differend
shades of blue. The birthday sentiment is from my
stash ( I think it is SU! but I am not sure).
The ribbon is crinkled handpainted ribbon from
DL.ART

Here is the other version with a lighter background.
I thouched the embossed background with
tumbled glass oxide distress inks.

It is day 17 on the
Love it when I can combine challenges.
