Hoeden/Hats

Hier is mijn bijdrage voor de Wednesdaystampers van deze week. Het thema is hoeden. Ik heb eerst de kaartjes met alcohol inkt bewerkt en daarna met zwart bestempeld. De tulpen hoedjes heb ik op dezelfde manier gemaakt, uitgeknipt en op de hoofdjes geplakt versierd met een knoopje.De witte lijntjes zijn met een gelpen gedaan.
Alle stempels zijn van Stampinback. Here is my contribution for the Wednesdaystampers. This week the challenge is hats. Firts I did the cards wit alcohol ink and than stamped on it with black. The tulip hats were done in the same manner and cut out and glued to the heads, embellished with a button. The white lines are done with a gelpen.
All stamps are from Stampinback.

Viool/Violin

Die "expressionistic pearls" technique( geleerd bij de Technique Junkies) is echt mooi om achtergronden te maken en nu mijn stempels van Ank van Stampinback binnen kwamen heb ik ze meteen gebruikt hiervoor.
Alleen de tekst is van Club Scrap.
The "expresionistic pearls"technique( from the Technique Junkies site) is really great for backgrounds. So when my stamps from Stampinback come today I had to make another card. Only the textstamp is from Club Scrap.

Getallen/Numbers

Voor een snelle caardvarks challenge heb ik hier 2 verjaardagskaarten.

Ik maak graag kaarten met de leeftijd van mijn dochters, ieder jaar. Deze zijn van dit jaar.

De gewone challenge moet ik nog doen. Heb het een beetje druk, maar het komt niog wel op tijd!!

For a fast caardvarks challenge I show you her two birthdaycards. I love to make them cards with their age on it. These are this years cards. The main challenge I still have to make, kind of busy, but it will get done!!

Boemen voor jou/ Flowers for you

Er staan om de maand zo'n 10 nieuwe technieken bij de Technique Junkies, dus dan ben je niet snel uitgespeeld. Hier weer zo'n leuke en vrolijke techniek. Deze heet "expressionistic pearls".
Bloemen en poeder zijn van Blonde Moments.
Every other month there are about 10 new techniques at the Technique Junkies.
So is is a long time plaing fun. This technique is called "expresionistic pearls"
and is a fun and bright technique. Flowers and powder are from Blonde Moments.

Na het examen/ After the exam

Vandaag weer eens gescrapt. Heb toch dat prachtige papier van Club Scrap. Deze maand heet de doos Chapter One. Vele hoofdstukken zullen nog geschreven worden en deze gaat over Zora. De Middelbare School jaren afgesloten en de toekomst staan open. Wat staat er haar te wachten?
Al het papier, stempels en lint zijn van deze doos. Randjes beinkt met de inkt uit de doos. Ook de stickers voor haar naam gebruikt.

Ja,ja ze is GORGEOUS!

Today I scrapped for a change. I still have this beautiful paper from Club Scraps new box Chapter One. And many chapters are going to be written. This one is about Zora who just finished High School and what will her future bring. For this page I used all paper, stamps and ribbons from the box. The ink around the paper is also in the box (jr) as well as the stickers I used for the name.

Yes, she is GORGEOUS!

Reverse Print 2

Nog een kaartje met deze techniek van de Technique Junkies en stempels van StaminBack.
De tekst is van Hero Arts. Ik heb witte embossing poeder gebruikt en ook koper.

Another card with this new technique from the Technique Junkies and the stamps from StampinBack. The text stamp is from Hero Arts. I used white and copper embossing powder.

Eieren/Eggs

De wekelijkse uitdaging van de Wednesdaystampers gaat over eieren. Behalve dat ik ze lekker vind om te eten, heb ik er niks mee. Ik heb er geen stempel van want ook Pasen vier ik niet, dus wat dan??? Het werd een heel "gepuzzel" en toen ik ineens mijn ovale pons zag, kreeg ik dit idee.

Puzzelstuk eerst met acrylverf behandeld en daarna er over gestempeld. De stempels zijn allemaal van het nieuwste stempelsheet van Ank de Back. Het papier van de eieren is van Club Scrap (fossil) waarvan ik een restje vond en zeer geschikt!

The weekley challenge at Wednesdaystampers is about eggs. Well I like to eat them, but have no stamps, do not celebrate Easter, so it was quite a puzzle to figure out what to do! Suddenly I found my oval punch and new what to do.

I painted the puzzle piece with acrylic paint and stamped over it. All stamps are from the latest stampsheet from Ank de Back. The paper of the eggs is a left over bit from Club Scrap (fossil) but just right.

Trifold Triangle card

Vandaag ontving ik van mijn vriendin uit Amerika - Gwen Casteel - een leuke koffie kaart. Deze was in drieen gevouwen en heet dus een trifold card. Nu was ik weer net met een nieuwe technique van de Techniquejunkies bezig, dus moest ik dat ook eens uitproberen en zie hier het resultaat: Paars papier met daarom een achtergrond van de cling-and-scrunch technique. De stempels zijn van Club Scrap. De uitleg van de vouwkaart heb ik dmv google gevonden en deze vind ik erg duidelijk:

Today I received this wonderful trifold triangle coffee card from my American friend Gwen Casteel. And while I was just trying a new Techniquejunkies technique, I made a similar card.

I used purple paper and club scrap stamps and the background is done in the cling-and-scrunch technique. An explanation of this trifold triangele card I found with google and I think this one is most clear and easy:

Deurhanger/ Doorhanger

Vanavond kwamen mijn stempelvriendinnen en dit is het project wat ik had bedacht. Bij de Action hadden ze deze leuke deurhangers voor een euro. Nou ja ze zagen er eerst anders uit!!
Wij hebben ze eerst geschuurd en toen met acrylverf bewerkt. Daarna met zwarte archival inkt bestempeld en clear embossing powder erop. De stempels boven zijn van Blonde Moments en van de onderste van Club Scrap. Verder ingekleurd met de pearl pigments van Blonde moments.
Ringen er in gedraaid en ijzerdraad om een potlood gedraaid en aan de ringen vast gemaakt.
Tot slot de teksten met de dymo tang gemaakt.

Tonight my stamping girlfriends were coming and this is the project we made. At a shop like the Target I got cheap doorhangers and after sanding them down, we painted them with acrylic paint. Than we stamped them with blach archival and embossed them with clear embossing powder. We used stamps from Blonde Moments on the top and Club Scrap on the bottom ones. We coloured the stamps with pigment powders from Blonde moments. A iron loop was attached and we made took some iron wire around a pencil and attached it to the loops.

The hanger was finished of with some sayings made on dymo tape.

Blone Moments Project 1

Vandaag heb ik het eerste project van maandag afgemaakt toen ik naar de workshop was van Blonde Moments met Dyan. We kregen een "checkbook"van Creative Imaginations, met binnen in een 2-jarige maandelijkse kalender zonder datum.
Wij hebben bij de workshop de buitenkant versierd. Gebruik van verf, stempels en poeder werd uitgelegd. Hier het resultaat.

Today I finished the first project we worked on last Monday when I attended Blonde Moments'workshop with Dyan. We were given a "checkbook"by Creative Imaginations with a dayplanner for 2 years without date inside. We were to decorate the outside with paints, stamps and powders. Dyan exlpained it so well. Here is the finished result.

Dots, dots........for a New Job!

Nog maar eentje voor de Wednesdaystamper, maar dan wel met mijn nieuwe stempels van Blonde Moments, die ik gisteren heb gekocht na de workshop. Wat zijn ze mooi!
En ja de ene dochter geslaagd voor haar examen, de andere dochter heeft een nieuwe baan en dat is toch zeker ook een kaartje waard. Here is another card for the Wednesdaystampers, but with my new Blonde Moment stamps. They are so cute!! I bought them yesterday after the workshop. And yes, one daughter has graduated and the other has just got a new job. And this fact is also a great moment for a card!

Blonde Moments

Vandaag was ik het grootste deel van de dag naar een workshop van Blonde Moments'Dyan.
Het was een leerzame en leuke dag. Vanavond snel even deze pagina gemaakt met een foto van mij met Dyan afgedrukt op canvas papier, net als de tekst. Veel stippen en circels, dus ik denk dat hij ook wel past bij de dots uitdaging van de Wednesdaystampers!!
Ik ben er van overtuigd dat er nog vele Blonde Momenten volgen! Today I spend most of my day at a workshop wit Dyan of Blonde Moments. It was a fun day, but also we learned some new techniques. I quickly made this page tonight with a picture of me and Dyan printed on canvas paper. I did the same with the text. Lots of dots and circles, so I think this page is also for the challenge of the Wednesdaystampers!!
I am sure there will be much more Blonde Moments.

Reverse Print

Tja, als de nieuwe technieken van de Technique Junkies er weer zijn, dan moet je van alles uit proberen. Deze techniek heet "revers print" en wordt gedaan met echte bladeren uit de natuur.
Het lijkt wel op het spatten van vroeger op school. Ik moet zeggen het doet het leuk voor achtergronden. De tekststempel is van Club Scrap. When there are new techniques from the Technique Junkies, one just has to try them all! This one is called "revers print"and reminds me of a technique we used to do at kindergarden. One uses real leaves from the garden. It is great for backgrounds. The text stamp I used is from Club Scrap.

Vaderdag/ Fathersday

Heb je al een idee voor een kaartje voor vaderdag? Nee? Nou, ik zag eenkaartje gemaakt door Ann Clack van de Technique Junkies en vond het zo leuk, dat ik haar de instrukties voor het vouwsel vroeg en er ook eentje hebt gemaakt! Je hoeft toch niet altijd het wiel uit te vinden.
Vind jij het ook leuk en heb je nog niets, dan kun je als je op het woordje hier klikt de instructie vinden (gemaakt door Cambria Turnbow). Super makkelijk! Veel vouwplezier!! Are you ready for fathersday?? No?? Well, Ann Clack showed a wonderful card on the Technique Junkies and I just loved it. Irisvouwen/Irisfolding

Irisvouwen is iets wat ik al heel lang doe. Vind het leuk als kaart, of in combinatie met stempelen of op een scrappagina. Wil je weten hoe het moet klik dan op de titel van dit bericht, dan kom je vanzelf in een irisvouw workshop.
Het patroon wat je onder deze kaart ziet, kun je gewoon opslaan om te gebruiken. De kopjes zijn met een pons gedaan. De tag is een pons van Stampin'Up! en de tekst is van My sentiments exactly.
Veel plezier met vouwen!

Irisfolding is something I do allready for a long time. It is fun on a card, incombination with stamping or on a scrapbookpage. Technique Junkies: Chalk on Chalk

Deze techniek is weer van de Technique Junkies en doe je met chalks. Is de achtergrond, dan stempelen en dan weer in kleuren met chalks. Vandaar de naam Chalk on Chalk.
Gebruikte stempels zijn voornamelijk van Stampin'Up! ('it's a girls thing en Paris in spring) en die grote in het midden is van TAC (Haute Couture).

This is another Technique Junkies technique en you use chalks for this one. First you do the background, than you stamp and than you color with chalks. That's why it is called Chalk on Chalk. Most of the stamps I used are from Stampin'Up! ('its a girls thing and Paris in Spring) and the big one in the middele is by TAC (Haute Couture).

Tries verhaal/Sad story LO

Here are my pages for a Club Scrap challenge online. Not all stories have a happy end and here I scrapped a sad story:These are the parents of my MIL (you see her as a child in the picture on the left).These pictures are very special to her.All the time during WW2 she had them folded under her feet troughout all the camps (she was in 13!) she was in. After the war a photographer reconstructed these new photo's out of them. She has no other pictures, for her father was murdered in Auschwitz and her mother in Sobibor.Behind the pictures of her father and her mother (with the red ribbons) I have written their life stories (From Russia- her father and Poland - her mother were matched in Germany and went to Amsterdam, to die in Poland).But here she is, married, two children and both are married and have children of their own.

For these pages I used all paper and stamps of this new months kit, called Chapter 1. Great for stories and there are many more stories to tell!

Bloemen/Flowers

Deze week is het thema bloemen bij de Wednesdaystampers en hier is mijn bijdrage.
Alohol achtergrond. De stempels zijn oa van Stampin'Up! (bloemen van Doodle this) en de achtergrond is van Stampington&Compagny (Buttons and Lace). Waar het vrouwtje van is weet ik niet. This week the theme at Wednesdaystampers is flowers and this is my contribution. Alcohol backgrond and stamps by Stampin'Up! (flowers from Doodle this) and buttons and lace background from Stampington&Company.
The lady stamp is from an unknown source.

Flap-vouw-kaart/Flap Fold Card Technique Junkies

Een andere techniek van de Technique Junkies: een gevouwen flap kaart. Heel erg leuk om te doen. En dit kaartje ziet er lekker uit toch?

Alle stempels die ik hier gebruikt heb zijn van Stampin'Up en komen uit de set Oh so Sweet.

Newsletter Technique Junkies

Alweer een nieuwe nieuwsbrief van de Technique Junkies met fantastisch nieuwe technieken om uit te proberen. Het is de moeite waard om er een kijkje te gaan nemen, er zijn 3 gratis lessen. Zo kan je zien hoe het werkt. Elke stap van een techniek wordt gefotografeerd, zodat je precies ziet hoe je het moet doen.
De techniek van deze kaart heet: Faux Flocking. Gebruikte stempels zijn de Paisley achtergrond stempel van Stampin'Up! en de set Polka dots and paisley van Stampin'Up!.

Koffietijd/ Time for Coffee

Op 1 juni liet ik 3 vierkantjes zien en vroeg me of of jullie konden raden wat ik zou gaan maken. Er was toen niemand die een idee had. Maar ik neem aan dat het nu wel duidelijk is dat het een klok geworden is! All het papier en de stempels zijn van Club Scrap. Het klokje is van een project uit december 2004, wat ik nooit gemaakt heb. Nu kwam het dus uitstekend van pas!

Verder heb ik nog wat lintjes en krimpfolie gebruikt.

On June 1st I showed 3 squares and asked if anyone knew what it was going to be. But no one guessed right. But I expect now you all know it is a clock. All papers and stamps are Club Scrap. The clock piece is from a long ago stamp project (December 2004) I just never knew what to do with. Now it came in handy. Alsi I used some ribbons and shrink plastic.

Vandaag kwam mijn nieuwste Club Scrap doos! Joepie!! De nieuwe doos heet "Chapter One"en er zit vanalles in om mooie verhalen pagina's mee te maken. Maar het mooiste wat er deze maand in zit is de "Scrap Rap", het blad dat er altijd in zit met iedeen. Deze keer sta ik er in met een pagina van de vorige doos! Hier kun je hem nog eens goed bekijken:
Papier en embelishments zijn allen van Simply Beautiful en nog een keer de stempel van Stratosphere. Bedankt Clup Scrap voor de eer om gepubliceerd te mogen worden en gefeliciteerd met jullie 8 jarig bestaan! Ik blijf meegenieten. Today my new Pizza Box from Club Scrap arrived! Hooray!! The new box is called "Chapter One" and has beautiful paper for making story lay outs. But the best thing of this months bos is the "Scrap Rap" inspirational sheet for I am in it!!!! A page of mine from last month's box is published and here you can see it again. All papers and embelishments are Simply Beautiful and the stamp from Stratosphere. I thank Club Scrap for the honour they gave me. And I congratulate Club Scrap on their 8th year anniversary. I hope to enjoy many more kits!!

Mix it! Caardvark Challenge

Hierbij het kaartje voor de "Mix it!"challenge op de Caardvark blog. Dit is wat ik leuk vind, alles door elkaar gebruiken: dus hier papier van basic grey, rusty pickle, club scrap en imagination project. De dames zijn van I brake for stamps en de tekst is van Stampin'up! . Here a card for the Mix it! challenge at the Caardvark blog. Just as I like it! Use everything from different brands. The papers are from basic grey, rusty pickle, club scrap and imagination project. The ladies stamp are by I brake for stamps and the thext is from Stampin'Up! .

Deur uitdaging /Door challenge

Bij de Wednesdaystampers is het thema deze week "deur". Daar moest ik echt even over na denken. Heb geen enkele stempel, behalve een rijtje huisjes van Stampin' Up! ("Right at home"),
maar dat alleen werd me te cute. Dus ben ik alsvolgt te werk gegaan:
Heb eerst uit de krant wat plaatjes met deuren gezocht, daarna wat glanspapier met alcohol inkt bewerkt en vervolgens witte gesso eroverheen. Toen de plaatjes uit de krant erop geplakt en de rijtjes huizen erbij gestempels evenals wat baksteentjes (Mariette Verhees). De letter d eerst geprint, uitgeknipt en op cardboard overgetrokken en uitgeknipt. Bewerkt met verschillende kleuren dappers en daarna het woord "door" ( letters van SU!) er op gestempeld, evenals de scharnier (Club Scrap). De scharnier ook op de ondergrond gestempeld. De letter met ultra thick clear embossingpoeder bewerkt. Vervolgens de woordjes open en close met de dymo tape gemaakt en opgeplakt. Schroef-brads op de "d"en lintjes erom, daarna de letter op zijn plaats geplakt.

The Wednesdaystampers have the "door"as their theme this week. It took me some thinking before I knew what to do. I have no door stamp at all, only a row of houses from Stampin'Up! ("Right at home"), but these alone where just to cute for me, so this is what I did:
A tore some door-pictures from the newspaper. Than I took some shiny paper and stamped it with alcohol ink and a layer of white gesso. Than I glued the newspaper pictures to the packground, stamped with the houses from SU! and some brick stones (Mariette Verhees).
Than I printed and cut the big d with the computer. Traced it on cardboar, cut it out and worked on it with a few dabber colors. Stamped the word "door"(SU!) and the hinge (Club Scrap), which I also stamped on the background. Embossed the "d"with thick clear embossingpowder. Screw brads in the hinge and added the ribbons. Now I did the words open and close with the dymo and added the letter and the words to the card.

Lampenkap/ Lampshade

Deze lampenkapjes heb ik gisteren gemaakt op de High Teadag in Numansdorp. Het was echt een heel gezellige dag met leuke make & takes in de ochtend, een heerlijke lunch 's middags en daarna nog een grote workshop en dat waren deze kapjes. Zoals je hem op de bovenste foto ziet, heb ik hem mee naar huis genomen en vandaag heb ik nog wat koffieboontjes op krimpfolie gestempeld, gaatje en ringetje erdoor en ze aan het kapje gemaakt. Zo zie je het resultaat op de onderste foto. Nu nog een standaard om het lampje op te kunnen zetten, dus morgen even naar de Xenos! Ben aardig tevreden met het resultaat.

This lampshade I made at a workshop yesterday. We had a full day of makes & takes in the morning, a wonderful lunch and in the afternoon a big workshop which was this shade. of course I took my coffee stamps with me and I was not dissapionted, for I could use them to make this shade. It will have a nice spot in workroom. The coffee beans I stamped today at home on shrinkplastic to finish the lampshade of after I look it home as it was on the picture you see at the top. I am very satisfied with the result.
