Geslaagd/ Graduation

Mijn jongste dochter is geslaagd voor haar

diploma ondernemer detailhandel mbo4

en dit kaartje heb ik voor haar gemaakt.

Goed gedaan hoor!! Ik ben trots op je.

Dit kaartje is gemaakt met Club Scrap papier

van Girls Night Out en de stempels zijn

van Club Scrap (meisje)

en Michael Strong (ster).

Op de achtergrond zie je het gebruik van

twee verschillende embossing folders.

Beide zijn met witte inkt bewerkt.

Tekst is met de computer gemaakt

en geprint.

My youngest daughter has graduated this week.

She can now open her own shop, but this is not what

she is going to do, she is going to get another degree

 and will study for organizing big events.

I am so proud of her!

Well done!!

This card is made with Club Scrap paper

called Girls Night Out.

The stamps are from Club Scrap (girl)

and Michael Strong (star).

In the background I have used two different

embossing folders with white ink on top.

The sentiment is made and pruinted with the computer.

Coffee & Cake

Natuurlijk kan ik het niet laten om met mijn eigen

koffiekopje te stempelen: Michael Strong heeft het ontworpen.

Maar bij koffie hoor natuurlijk cake en

het is gevouwen met de irisvouwtechniek

en het patroon vind je op het blog van Bergkaarten.

De tekst is een stempel van Hero Arts.

Of course I cannot stop using my coffee cup tha is made

by Michael Strong. With a cup of coffee one needs some cake

and this irisfolded cupcake pattern you can find on my friend

Bergkaarten's blog for free.

The sentiment is a stamp by Hero Arts.

June New release Blog Hop

Another month has passed and Boni has come

up with yet another wonderful set of new

digital stamps.

You find them at:

Bonibleaux Digital Designs.

I chose to work with Fred Eccx

and got this idea right away.

The background is done with an embossing

folder for the cuttlebug and I added some white ink

to the raised parts.

Fred is colored with copic markers.

The sentiments outside and in are from

Create with TLC and printed

with the computer. Cut with oval spellbinders.

Of course we have organized a blog hop with new ideas

for you with all the new stamps.

Club Scrap Die Cutter's Blog Hop

Today me and my friends
- Club Scrap lovers -

want to show you what you can do with your

Club Scrap paper and one of the die cut machines.

I still have one of the first Cricut machines

( the smaller one)

and to be honest I don't do anything

spectacular with it. Mainly I use it for cutting

letters. I love all the alphabets.

Today I want to share with you a little booklet that was made

with the "Storybook" cardtridge.

I started  with cutting the pages for my booklet

at 5 1/2 inch with

using different colors of Club Scrap

Lotus Pond papers.

A total of 10 different pages were cut.

To make the outerpages a little more sturdy,

cut 2 pages out of grey bord by tracing

with a pencil

the ones you cut out with your machine.

Then cut them out.

Use bookbinding glue to adhere 2 pages: one to the front

and one to the back of the grey board.

Do the same  for the backpage.

Choose the pictures and print them.

I have a wonderful free program called

Picasa, where you can print in all sizes

and this time I choose to print them wallet size.

Back to the Cricut and the letters

for the front page were cut and on the edges

some ink was added.

Me and no stamps? No......!

So I got  the Lotus pond stamps out,

ink and my Karisma pencils.

When all pages are finished,

pile them together and punch a whole

and use a bookbinding ring to hold

them together. Decorate the ring

with ribbons and charms.

Here you see the result of it all:

Front page: cut out lettering, stamps

and ribbons. Extra charms: dragonfly and frog.

I chose the water lily theme because

my water lilies started to bloom yesterday and I just

remembered I have so many beautiful pictures

of them that I can use in a booklet.

Pictures, scrap background, stamps and a cut out form

that is stamped on.

Pictures and stamped images.

Pictures, stamped images and ribbon.

Fowers with Cricut, lettering with stencil,

pictures and stamped images.

And on the back of the booklet I used some text

printed with the computer. Stamped images, flower picture and brad.

Koffie/ Coffee

Deze geweldige nieuwe stempelset

is van Michael Strong en heet:

Hetty's Coffee Cup

Ik kan het bijhna niet geloven, dat er een

stempelset naar mij is genoemd, ik vind het een eer

en helemaal geweldig.

Gisteren lagen ze in de brievenbus en

natuurlijk moest ik er meteen mee aan het werk.

Samen met het Club Scrap Mocca Java papier

en deze stempels heb ik onderstaande

scrap papgina gemaakt.

De stempels zijn met wit geembossed

en ingekleurd met disstress inkt.

I can hardly believe that there is a stampset

named after me. What an honour

and a great feeling.

The stamps arrived yesterday in my mailbox

an ofcourse I had to use them right

away for a scrap page.

In combination with Club Scrap's Mocca Java

paper and the new stamps, I made this page.

The stamps are embossed in white

and colored with distress inks.
