How about some romantic table decorations
for Valentine?
You need some empty glass jars.
Any size is ok
and as many electric lights as jars.
You can use white or colored paper.
Measure the hight of the jar and cut your paper.
I used my new Tim Holtz Valentine stamp
on the paper. I cut out a heart with the new Tim Holtz
sizzix die and distressed the top of the paper.
Added some ink with a blender tool on top and
bottom and around the heart.
Now I stamped for mini cloisonné hearts by
Michael Strong with versamark watermark
and embossed them with oriental express
embossing powder and cut out the hearts.
For one embellishemnt you need 4 hearts.
Fold the hearts double. Add a piece of double sided
tape on one half of the heart. Take a piece of ribbon
or thread and fold double, so you have a loop
on top of the heart to hang it from. Stick all the
hearts together.
Use double sided tape to adhere your stamped
paper to the jar.
Take your ribbon or thread and fasten it around the jar.
First make one not, add your heart embellishment,
make another knot and a bow if you like that.
{ut the electric light onside and you are ready!
Have a creative day!

Very pretty Hetty, thanks for the tutorial. Don't think there'll be much romance in our house today though, we've both got rotten, streaming colds and are feeling very sorry for ourselves :( Oh well, maybe we can celebrate later when we can actually taste the food on the decorated table ;)
This is so cute Hetty! A great idea for shower favors too.
This is such a fabulous little project Hetty! I love those 3D hearts!
