TJ Blocked Background

Are you a member of Technique Junkies?

If so you received the latest Newsletter in the mail

this past week with fu  new techniques.

As a designer I have to do certain techniques for

the newsletter, but when it comes I love to try all the

other techniques as well.

This technique is called "Blocked backgrounds"

and I really like doing it. So I made these two cards.

The first card is made with a swan stamp by Art Neko

and a sentiment by Michael Strong.

I colored with distress markers.

The second card is made with Club Scrap papers

and stamps. The sentiment is a sticker that

came with one of the old kits called Ferris Wheel.

The stamp is from the 2009 Henna Kit.

I added a sticky gemstone in the middle of the flower.

Here I also colored with distress markers. 

Can't wait to get some of the new colors.
