Hello!
Here my card for today, no challenge, just
playing with my Crazy Bird stamps by Tim Holtz
in combination with Michael Strong cloisonné
flower stamp.
The background is first stamped with the flowers
in dark yellow ink and embossed with clear embossing
powder. Then i colored the flowers, making them look
like sunflowers, for that is this time of the year.
Here a picture from my garden:
After the coloring of flowers, I took two stencils
to finish the background: wildflower (THS035) and
stripes (THS004) by Tim Holtz with shabby shutter
green inkpad and a blending tool to create a garden look.
I stamped the bird on watercolor paper and colored it
with a watercolor brush picking up colors from my
craft sheet. The bird is added with foam tape to the card.
The flower is stamped on yellow paper, cut out and also
added on the card with foam tape. The stem of the flower
is from the bird builer punch by SU!
The sentiment is also from a SU! set punched with a
tiny banner punch.
Soon more crazy birds!
I love those critters.
Have a creative day!

Aw what a pretty card! Love how you combined the flowers with the bird! The background is very pretty too! Love how you colored in little birdie too!
So adorable, Hettie! I love these birds from Tim Holtz!
Fabulous work with the bird. I have them too but am stumped as to how to use them. I love what you did with all those flowers.
