As you know by now,I always make something
with a Michael Strong stamp on Saturday.
I haven't used his house stamp for along time.
I had the idea of making something in the style of
a Delft-blue tile style.
The sentiment is fom an older (not available set)
Right at Home.
So how did I make this card:
I started out with a square piece of paper and used
for the corners a stamp from the Art Deco Set
and then used a marker in the same color blue for
the line ( faded jeans distress ink).
Next - on another piece - I stamped the house with
versamark and embossed it with white embossing
powder. Then I took the faded jeans distress ink and a blending
tool to color the paper and cut it to the right sice to fit
into the other square paper before tappingeverything
down to a 5,5 x5,5 inch card.
Some little sticky gemstones for a little bling.
Thank you for looking!
Have a creative day!

It's beautiful! Does look like that tile! Must have been a pain to position those corner stamps perfectly...
So pretty! Great idea to create your own "delft blue" tile!!! Love it that you sponged the faded jeans ink on the "tile" AND uses the marker to draw the outline! Also love how you made the corner stamping with Mike's Art Deco stamp!!
Very nice Hetty. So easy with a big impact.
What a fabulous card Hetty - love the blue you have used, and it really does remind me of a delft tile.
