Today I sahre two card with embossing folder coloring.
Both a little different. For both cards I used stamps
and images fom Art Neko.
For this card I started out with the brick wall embossing folder.
I opened de folder and added light and dark blue ink.
Then inside a piece of cardstock and together
I ran this through the big shot. When finished I sprayed
it with silver mica distress spray.
Next the whimsical snowman was stamped on a seperate
piece of white cardstock and colored with pencil.
Then it was cut out, ready for adhearing it to the background.
I had seen somewhere to make an image move on a card
and I found a way to do this.
You need two punched circles (I used a 1 inch circle punch),
a piece of metal wire, a marker or something similar and 2 pieces
of celotape. Take the metal wire and wire it around the marker
a few times (2 or 3). Then you tape one end to a circle and then
the other end to the 2nd circle. glue one circle to the background
of the card and the other end to the image, the snowman.
Now you can make the snowman woble.

More snowman fun on card #2:
Now for the 2nd card I used the same snowman stamp,
but here he is hidden behind the trees.
For this you need this tree embossingfolder (I have one
from Stampin'Up!) and 2 shades of blue ink.
First you color the embossingfolder with dark blue on top
and light blue on the bottom of the folder. leaving some
empty all the way down as snow.
Next you stamp the snowman on top of the folder,
then add your paper and run this sandwich through
the (big shot) embossing machine.
Then color the parts of the snowman that you see
with pencil (or the medium that you like to use:
markers, watercoloring). When the coloring is done,
you can mat this with a piece of black cardstock,
add it to your card and stamp a sentiment.
I did see this kind of stamping around, but never
tried it myself. It is a wonderful way of using this
embossing folder. There are many samples on pinterest.
So this was day 17 of the colorchallenge on
The Daily Marker Blog.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Beautiful cards Hetty - and the second one uses a technique I had not seen - thank you for sharing.

I had to come and leave a comment here as I couldn't get one onto the Art Neko blog. I love this snowman, I think he's so cute. Great work with both cards, I especially like the one with him in behind the trees.
I am WOW'd by these cards! LOve the pretty colors on the bakground of the darling wiggly snowman-how cool to use the wire and circles to make him wiggle! Also love how you have placed your snowman behind the trees in the 2nd card! Way cool. I've seen this in cards, but I didn't really "get" how to do it. You have a great tutorial for this! THanks so much!!!
Very cool techniques, Hetty! Love the colours of the first card and love the cool design of the second one - have never seen anything like it! You always come up with something fabulous!
