Hope you all have a lovely Sunday and have a little time
to look at my blogpost of today. I have a scrap page and
a card to share.
The scrap page is about Saint Martin's day. I explained
about last Friday here.
More paper lanters, a bit larger this time
and again I share how I made them.
The crincled ribbon is hand dyed by Diana Larson
and she sells them on her website here.
The ribbon here is from the rainbow bundle.
First i stampe the Michael Strong circle stamp
and next I used the circle die to cut it out.
To finish the paper lantern, you need to run the
circle through the crimper, then i added some ink on top of
the raised parts and all around the circle. if you want
a more straight paper lantern, just cut of some of the
left and right side of the circle.
I added 1/2 x 1 inch pieces of of black paper
on top and bottom.
The tassel can be some real ribbon or I used this tassel die
from a balloon die from Stampin'Up!
Text written and printed with the computer.
Papers for this page are by Club Scrap.
Next I stamped and colored the Michael Strong
Cloisonné Pony stamp for my color challenge day 13.
You find all the details about the color challenge on
And this is the finished card
with a sentiment also from Micheal Strong.
This is the Word & Phrases set.
Papers also from Club Scrap.
And here another beautiful ribbon from
Diana Larsons rainbow bundle.
I enter this card also for the #192 Thanksgiving challenge
on the DL.ART Blog.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
