So many birthday wishes, wow!!
Had had to make a thank you card, to thank you
all for your wonderful wishes. It made my day.
For my card I used this sketch from the
Of course i used one of the gilded pieces from yesterdays
blog post (here) and some to color flowers
I had left from Club Scrap Delft kit.
I started the backpanel with a Tim Holtz stencil
and my new distress oxide inks (birthday present from hubby).
The next layer is the gilded roses (a wonderful new
embossing folder I found and fits perfect
with Tim's new roses stencils and stamps.
The 3rd layer is a piece of printed flowers.
I first added lightly some vintage photo distress
ink to make the whate paper softer and blend
more with the other layers. Then I colored the
flowers with pencil.
Now I glued all the layers to the card.
Thanks if from Club Scrap's Shades of Winter
and the butterflies are made with a die from
Stampin'Up! and then colored with the gildingwax.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
